Ig newgen line always goes 12 to 18 months back so yeah i only really started posting around 4 months ago
Here's how I classify it:
Oldgen: 2020-2022
Midgen: 2022 -2024 (I am here)
Newgen: 2024-present
My reasoning is that there are def prominent users I joined too late to truly understand and know, even if I did catch their fading ashes. However, enough of the users from when I was most active are gone for me to conclude that this is a new gen of vlr users
There's some users who are just horrendous to interact with/read posts (I'm not going to name names) but generally speaking it's okay

Everyone you mentioned is either midgen or older except Jayde and veronika
Where would you put the line in 2022 and 2024 cuz it’s in multiple. Off-season makes sense but that would mean someone who started in 2024 champs is midgen which don’t make much sense personally

i would consider myself late midgen because i was there for a few of the big ragebaiters that are now gone
I feel like I would only call someone that’s been active since 2022 or longer old Gen so I guess that’s where the line goes
Even if the line was in 2023 I would still consider myself newgen though since I wasn’t really active until recently
There has definitely been a shift.
I feel like as time went on the average age of the site went down.
It’s kinda been giggling nerds who bait and white knights for about 2 years now.
i guess im technically newgen since i only recently started posting a few months ago but been lurking for a long time now so whatever that means 🤷♂️
I've been here since end of 2022 (just to see what match are coming up) never once the thought of creating an account cross my mind so yea i've been lurking till 2024
