What are they thinking with this dogshit ass format, every game is bo1 just for the final to be bo5? They have no idea what the viewers want from the offseason, and its not some gimmicky dogshit formats but proper tournaments that hold value. Stretch the tournament by a day and make more games bo3 rather than the final bo5 and your event will be taken seriously.

yeah, we are still 1.5 months from the start of the season and the event is in NYC, players would have no issue staying in the city for a few more days, especially the international teams. It should have been BO3s and two BO5s
they tried to convince us RBHG was better than EWC but not we know the clear superior 🥱
its depressing, I truly wanted to see if sen can match up with nrg/g2 and we got one map each.....

bo1 for playins, cool but for majority of the actual event sucks
It's just classic red bull, I'm not even surprised. They spend all this money on the venue itself and on flying out so many teams, 17 in this case, for then to barely have any coverage of the matches for playins, eliminating 8 teams already.
Then we get to playoffs with all the big teams, and they jam everything into BO1 fuckfest...
Worst part is, it's not even that bad for red bull standards.
Cpl years ago they ran red bull campus clutch, 50 teams flown out to Sao Paolo, NO streams for groups, which was like a shit ton of groups, eliminating 34 I believe.
Shit doesn't make sense, it never makes sense with red bull it seems...
So unfortunate cuz the prod is also always COOKED in some obvious way, that they can't even fix after 2 broadcast days...
