so i know im not the only one who hates the champs points system but i cant think of anything thatd be better so what would be the BEST qualification system for champs (or anything)

You can't think of anything because champ points is literally the best system lol. All that needs to be fixed is for tiebreakers in points to have a bo5 decided and boom, no more mickey mouse narratives
champ points is good after that, lcq is ass
if anything, id just repeat the 2025 kickoff format, top 4 quals if thats a problem (or maybe even the 2024 one which I liked)
Champs points is fine but I would rather it be like last year where there's just one spot instead of two

Champ points are fine, but there should be only one slot given by them and if you failed to reach stage 2 playoffs your points should get nullified
Champs points is fine the two best teams make finals and the two most consistent teams throughout the year make it through points, it just so happens that for Americas the two overlap so it seems like an underserving team qualified(mibr) but in reality they were always the third best team behind g2 and Sen beside this stage
It happens the best team and consistent ones are on top rather than the ones taking the spot by not qualifying through champ points
imo I like it because it encourages longevity and long-term performances, but I do agree that they should limit it to one spot and (imo) bring back lcq because watching lower ranked teams duke it out in a slug fest is lowk hella fun
imo top 2 stage 2
highest champs points other then the top 2
then 4-7th in champs points that arent qualified go to an LCQ
