ethan is historically a flash initiator flex, the only other time he has EVER played recon initiator was a brief stint in 100T like 4 years ago and never after, he picked recon initiator back up late last year, so stop with the revisionism, they took brawk off tejo and fade because he can't provide value on them, he was so mid at it that they put fucking ETHAN on it and you think he is a natural recon initiator literally shut the fuck up

bonkar is prob only coach itw who thinks sova is superior to fade, its not a surprise that nrg’s worst maps are fade dominant maps like bind and split. lotus is an exception
its funny cause Brawk can actually play Fade he just doesn't for some reason. its prob because ethan feels better as fade than vyse
he would play fade before that, the vyse role wouldn't fall on ethan anyway, it would be skuba/s0m
he is also much bigger problem then trent u actually have to game plan around brawk

trent has the same rating as brawk while able to play skye/fade
nrg has to play around brawk's hero pool; ethan goes onto fade, keiko onto omen, brawk on vyse on lotus is wasting the potential of keiko on double duelist

the odin is not so hard to counter, it's just a way to anchor site; the same protocools to root out site anchors is the same protocool to flush out an odin. If you know all the bangable walls (like me), you can easily counter the lineup spots and flush them out
imo the odin recoil should be way higher , i am an odin user and i dont seem to have to control the recoil to get kills, in cs i also use the negev and its better weapon in my opinion but pros dont use it because if you are the best its bad cause you have to set it up like 0.3 seconds
it doesnt matter if its easy to counter you have to counter it that is play style switch up trent isn't good enough at doing it to be countered
just having that option makes him a bigger problem to deal with then trent while also matching his stats other then that there is no noticeable difference in game play since ethan's flexibility covers for brawk
if it was truly not so hard to counter you would see more teams making a joke of NRG having a player on there team that can be dealt with by any non low rank player and surely pro players know all the wall bangable walls if you know them so it should be even easier then that but it isn't NRG(brawk in particular) generally dont get punished or countered until pretty late into most tourney's or against high level teams
anyways most high level players/analysts agree that it is a stupid design or straight up broken only reason it isn't used as often is because players aren't putting the time in to learn it because they find it boring same reason the phantom,outlaw,stinger etc wasn't getting abused earlier in pro play
to be fair to players it is also a hefty eco investment so maybe they rate multiple rifle rounds higher then getting a odin on one of them
