puts together strong rosters every year and always makes it to at least 1 international. pretty good id say so
it's hard to not make a strong roster with so much KR talent and DRX being a decently big org
1 international is no call for celebration; even mid-tier teams like KRU do the same
Talent is nothing without a good IGL which korea lacks, your best IGL is someone who rages and throws any advantage he has and your second best is someone who shits on and bullies his teammates.

debatably best controller in 2021 too and also top 5 (min 750 rounds) in VCT 2023, still the "greatest of all time" controller and performs well even on IGL
dawg maybe watch a few DRX matches before you yap. He's been hard carrying that team for years. The players are all insane but the macro and planning is so abysmal that they can't even play to their strengths.

Termi only scouts players based on their Rank KD. However, in most cases, this is correct.
Players with high Rank KD scores tend to perform well in tournaments.
BeYN has weak Rank stats, so BeYN is always moved to the bench.
Given that, Termi will definitely scout KEN (CGZ) next.

yea but the coaches role in the early days of valorant is extremely overrated because there wasn't as much tactics back then. Aim monsters were ruling the game back then. Nearly every star player made a name for themselves from raw aim not from great tactics and plays. Even the comps were wild back in the day.

Like teams still use so many tactics that were created by vs to this day like the ascent defense attack one. followed by random players switches random role switches and random map pool changes and little to no improvement aside from maybe one player picking up agent nicely again AC or exp player into coach fixes that they had flaws dont get me wrong but that is where the coaching comes in which hasn't come in cause those player feel like they are improving on there on there own instead of getting coached which to oversimplify should speed up the process ALOT from our perspective
(coming into bankok they had a 5/7 map pool and where the best KR team and starting bankok they had a singular comp for every map changing out there good and bad maps into the easiest read of all time had sayf looking like a good caller they wouldn't have won so i wont complain too much)
there is no excusing him he has had the best KR org that every player wanted to be on in vct up until gen.g T1 won so up until 2025 he had 1st or 2nd pick on every talent Crazy investment and the best KR core itw even now with gen.g staggering a lil with ash,foxy9 he has his pick of the best KR talent seemingly a region that competes if not outright beats turkish/CIS/NA(with CIS being the hardest imo) talent in most if not all categories with down side of bad mental which is easily fixable with a performance coach drx already have meh mental so they need it regardless he is hated because he is a good coach his strengths as much as i down play them are GOOD strengths to have he needs to lock in and stop tripping over himself constantly alecks had the similar problems when he changed comps will nilly when prx made it those two GF where they lost but he improved historically t0rmi he is a good coach 21-22 but he hasn't shown much if any improvement at all sometimes it feels like a0t0mn can clear him which with his experience should never happen
