people saying "primmie has the best mechanics in the world" are so so stupid, primmie hasn't proven shit, why are we overrating a player who hasn't done anything in tier 1 val yet
people saying "primmie has the best mechanics in the world" are so so stupid, primmie hasn't proven shit, why are we overrating a player who hasn't done anything in tier 1 val yet
wow what a great argument, surely it makes sense to have an ascendant go up against pro players
it makes sense for primmie to be constantly producing fragmovies every other week while being number 1 in APAC ranked also watch
https://youtu.be/f6SvUFK69xM?t=35
yeah and also cause he plays 12 hours a day, cause its his full time JOB
what he should of said was anyone who can play the game well could make a montage and edit it to make themself look better than they are. which is true.
sure, ranked but I'm not saying he doesn't have the potential, just that he is overrated by saying he has the best mechanics in the world
Oh yeah sure, he's probably not the best in the world. But there's an argument to be made for him to be up there
argument based on what? are people with the best aimlabs score better than everyone in the world? he won them the match against ts(chokers), lost 2-0 every single match, went 22-29 against prx btw and had 0.84 rating, what in the best mechanics in the world
Well yes technically they have better mechanics in terms of aim, but not util usage and mobility which are also part or mechanics
I guess there's no way to know who's the absolute best (spoiler: there is none) but not considering him as a generational aim demon is pure cope
Who else can get 1.5kd every season number 1 radiant other than prime yay? I've got an answer for you... nobody.
yay has done more in valorant than primmie has, yay is objectively a better player overall
Yeah duh, but im saying on the basis of raw mechanics nobody other than prime yay could do what Primmie is doing right now.
wrong, because primmie hasn't done shit outside ranked or montages, show me the most insane clip of primmie in pro play to prove he has the best mechanical prowess in the game
man he has minutes of insane clips every week that most players would take a year to collect
Name me some players who made better montages than primmie then
???? how do you even compare montages, what difference does it make to have better montages, if you can't comprehend arguments don't argue.
anyone can make great montages
but not "anybody" can make primmie level montages
gimme some players who have better montages than primmie and then its fair game. if not then ur point is invalid and primmie is still the best
And they do. Despite what people on VLR think about flor, you can't say they're lacking in the mechanics department
like to argue that flor has some of the best mouse control in the game
think everything else falls flat however and obviously, that doesnt define a great player
Just for a bit of context
Uhh Talon were two rounds away from losing 2-0 to GE before Primmie arrived
The fact that they even went to Champs is a miracle in itself
yes, he is good but saying "he's the goat" and "has the best mechanics in the world" is objectively stupid
TS makes it to champs if primmie didn't play and im assuming you haven't seen any of his fragmovies or his ranked stats
again, he is a game changer i don't deny that, but what did he do in champs? saying he has the best mechanics in the world is wrong
What do you want him to do tho
Had to carry Governor and the Talon players
Had 1.15 rating while his entire team went below 1
no ones saying hes better than players like aspas, he has insane raw mechanical ability that gives him insane potential to be one of the best in the world
this. this. agreed. I concur. but people are overrating him like he's faker of valorant and that's just stupid
if he's put on an actual top level roster that allows him to play his best role (this mf is forced to run sentinel and controller on talon while putting up the best stats), he can easily be the best player in APAC
Primmie carrying 3 dead players nd making it in Champs is a big enough achievement to prove himself
He deserves overrating
He is the guy who SOLELY made TLN qualify
If he gets a good team like KangKang or Aspas
U can see his true potential.
But what did he got?
Crws: Lowest ACS player
Governor: lowest ACS duelist/init
Ban the mid flex
And u expect him to win against a superTeam like LEV?
Come on bro this must be a bait post
I've made so many posts on TLN just so dat Primmie can shine on a good team
he only won them the match against ts. thats not hard against eternal chokers, he did nothing in champs to say he has the best mechanics in the game currently.
https://www.vlr.gg/378667/leviat-n-vs-talon-esports-valorant-champions-2024-opening-c
Diffed aspas, and Highest ACS in the match
Against a superTeam LEV with NA rejects b0n and g0vern0r
Well as dis was one of the worst baits
I close my case
how does that provide anything in favour of "he has the best mechanics in the world" he played good but he went 22-29 against prx (worse team btw) had 0.84 and was diffed by KICKS in his game vs vitality, if you can't comprehend arguments and are biased just say so, I'm trying to have a constructive argument, you're the one who's being naive and stupid
not when its against TS bro - notorious chokes and dogshit to begin with
Either you're braindead or baiting. He's played about 4 matches in Tier 1 and 2 of those was at Champs the highest level of tournament possible.
He's already been praised by TenZ an obvious mechanical god and has been praised by multiple others.
He did great at Champs and if he had more time playing he would've done better.
Yes dis agreed +++++
Very good point
Imagine a player who never played T2 or T1
And gets directly into champs after 3 matches
And STILL individually performs there
Hats off to Primmie
Most PPL would start making excuses:
'OH ITS MY FIRST LAN'
'PRESSURE GOT ME I BOT FRAGGED'
not baiting, he has the potential but he does not have the best mechanics in the game yet, prove it in tier 1 first
he’s really not. He’s deadass one of the best players this game has ever seen, yall need to remember that players can only show their full potential in a good environment. Primmie has one of the worst yet can still put up insane numbers.
Do you know how insane it is to have the other 4 players on your team to have a avg 0.75 rating and 171 acs. Yet ur still able to be one of the highest rated player in the tournament
his rating doesnt mean shit when he played 4 maps at champs and lost all of them 😹
it just means he's baiting/playing for kills
he played 85 rounds??? against prx he went 22-29 had 0.84 rating and has won them one match against the eternal chokers, what in the best mechanics in the world
Frost deadass told them to just troll the match since they alr qualed for champs and they didn’t care about seeding
as if frost didn’t literally publicly say this before and after the match
Nothing more primmie could've done if he's essentially 2v5ing every game
He still had the third highest rating at Champs while his team went out 0-4, so yeah
yeah im watching this guy hes the first val player to be high sens + use crouch
so by that definition to be that good hes the best player mechanically
I mean primmie became a pro right before playoffs and helped them qual so clearly he's doing something right
he had to win one match against a mid apac team who are known chokers, how does that prove anything, also he did make them win that match so he is good, best mechanics in the world, far from it.
he has had one of the most impactful and impressive debuts in VCT history i don't want to hear the overrated talks
?????? impressive debut(doubt this)= best mechanics in the world
https://www.vlr.gg/365322/paper-rex-vs-talon-esports-champions-tour-2024-pacific-stage-2-lr1/?game=176190&tab=overview
is this supposed to be impressive (against prx btw)
impressive debut=not overrated
on the best mechanics argument it's pretty obvious he's on the upper echelon of valorant pros, all you had to do was watch champs
primmie is good but his debut was NOT even one of the best. 0 impact vs PRX/DRX, only farmed against TS. I know he is good but you don't have to lie about it.
ignoring the eye test and praise by his peers, he subbed in last second and managed to stand out and top his team every single game he played, he even called one of their most important maps of the year to go into champs and then proceeded to shine against the best of the best, this type of shit has only been done by demon1 and tenz
Karon had a much better debut compared to primmie, and I didn't say that primmie was bad. you have to look at it objectively. He is a great player, but calling his debut one of the most impactful when other debutants like karon and flashback (very good in kick off, had to sit out until stage 2 with IGL change, still had a very good season) had better results individually and team-wise is pretty much biased.
Will he be better in 2025? Most probably.
Was he good in 2024? Yes.
Was his debut as good as you make it up to be? No.
karon got to prepare a whole ass pre-season on his own dedicated role so i'm not that impressed, although karon is easily rookie of the year
not really, you wouldn't be talking about karon or flashback if they had the talon records
im sure they would have done equally well, and you just cherry-picked wtv you wanted to rebut. Is his debut really as good as you make it out to be? no. Good game vs TS, no impact vs PRX/DRX, played pretty well in champs. But all of a sudden this gets compared to TenZ 2021 and Demon1 2023. the only impact he had was vs TS
"impressive and impactful debuts" beat team secret and then proceeded to lose 8 maps in a row, how the fuck is him joining the team impactful? they didnt win shit
you don't understand just how impressive it is to have that type of individual performance while being in a bottom tier team, if he didn't join the team just doesn't go to champs
there is no impact. they didnt win a single map. primmie or not they lost and there was no lasting impact on the playerbase. mate what is this scenario youre making up in your head? if they didnt have primmie they wouldnt have made it to champs? Talon has beat TS before albeit they have a new core that new core lost to RRQ, which talon also beat before. Talon 100% had a chance to beat TS even without primmie. you cant base your logic on their performances with primmie cause without primmie they wouldve played a different comp, different setup, different comms, different vibe cause you have a whole fucking new teammate. dont try to spiel and act like talon had a 0% chance of going to champs without primmie cause thats delusional
cant wait for him and his team to flop next year, and the glazers to eat their own words
primmie has had few professional games and still managed to stand out... bro, didn't you watch champions? he crushed it even though he was on a not-so-good team, showing that his skill isn't limited to ranked matches. the main reason primmie is talented in mechanics is because he knows how to play with the keyboard, the a-d movement he uses makes it difficult for the opponent to hit him and also helps with aim positioning, meaning he doesn't need to make micro adjustments or flicks...
you can tell man. when you watch a player play you can tell. him having good mechanics is some of what it means to be a pro player. However, you can have great mechanics and still loose a shit ton. look at N4rrate on Mad lions.
I agree with you but man you suck at arguing. primmie makes clipdumps which a lot of other top players dont even bother doing so hes really popular off of that. is he the best? def not, his performances in t1 have been mid and definitely not deserving of the title of the best in mechanics. but in terms of ranked and of those that upload videos CONSISTENTLY along with staying #1 in ranked, he's definitely one of the best in the world
bro, but are you comparing performances or mechanical skills? at least correlate them. opening and pixel marking, tracking, flick shots, aim positioning... all of these are mechanical skills and that's what needs to be compared. that's why primmie is standing out, because he knows how to use these mechanics correctly at certain moments in the game, making him more successful than the others.
you can talk about him being more successful than others when hes been successful at something aight? aimlabbers can be as technical as they want cause thats their niche they live for aim. no need to do all that for valorant, if youre not dropping 10+ as the "best mechanical player itw" maybe your mechanics arent making you as successful as you think they are
I like all the primmie hype and I loved watching primmie play but I do think people are overrating him a ton. Just because he had a few strong games in T1 off rip doesn't mean he's going to keep that level of performance forever. It's very commonly said on this website that ranked demon =/= tier 1 pro demon. Doesn't matter how long you're top 1 in ranked, it's still a different world between ranked and pro.
If he performs next year the way he did for those few games (which I hope he does), then I'll 100% join the hype train. Otherwise all this glazing is just going to make primmie be more disliked if and when he starts performing worse. When you set the bar this high you better hope that person can reach it.
Tenz and Kyedae fault to be honest. Why they compare him to Aspas?
Now he has to be same level as Aspas or he is overrated.
this ape 1234 needs to be banned
I am ashamed to be an American because of it
If you're still reading this post, I'll explain why I think he has the best mechanics in Valorant, not the world, M0nesy and the aimlabs sweats still clear him. But Primmie is the only player in Valorant that doesn't just stick to one single style of aim, you have Vitality Less who primarily uses flicky aim, Aspas who uses tension managed aim, Demon1 who is entirely based around explosivity, Kangkang who switches between Explosivity and Low Tension aim, but Primmie uses everything, in an angle hold scenario, he often keeps his mouse as a rock, using click timing to get kills. When he's peeking, he has near perfect explosivity-accuracy balance, when he knows his opponent has the peekers advantage, he'll transition to a low tension and movement based aiming. From vct and ranked highlights, he's the only player I've seen that is able to maintain good crosshair placement and is able to juggle every form of aiming into one.
primmie has one of the best mechanics in the game undoubtly but valorant tier 1 is more than just aim, its like 20% aim and 80% tactics, util usage and etc.
