Ask any player, any coach, any org... (All the best in the world)

They will tell you they tried really fucking hard to win this. More than their regional finals, more than any offseason event. Just like a masters.

They will tell you this meant really fucking much to them.

So i dont give a fuck what some fanboys say who only care about what makes their own teams or regions look/feel better. The competition matters. And the participants really gave their all for this.

I still dont like saudi but dont be disrespectful to the competitors and their deserved win

playoffs draw played a major factor in top 4, had the draw been different in toronto and ewc we would’ve seen something wildly different too, so your point doesn’t make sense

the results occur independently of an event’s format and more of RNG

also i can say the tournament was not comprised of only top teams (how did TEC make an international) and if prize pool really mattered that much then C0M would be the greatest player of all time

It really doesn't. The better team on the day wins. Sure if you care about 2 NA teams being in the Top 4. You would've wanted KC or BBL. But the Top 2 would sitll be the same.

I think its not about this being less prestigious than a masters its more so this being valued as straight up mickey mouse.
Its not mickey mouse. It's not as good as any masters but it's definitely a decent win regardless (also good money)

To be fair, ask a team if they're satisfied only winning a masters, they will still say no. (Hell most teams probably wouldn't be satisfied in just winning champs)
