if you think champs 22 was prime optic you do not remember optic in champs

"prime" optic was when Marved, yay, and vic-crashies were all firing back insanely well (reykjavik)

champs optic was the best peaking player of all time having the best tournament of all time and hard carrying a team that was not in form to the finals, and almost sending it to map 5 if a certain classic shot a bullet a little bit to the right. Granted, they still played very well, but Marved was not doing Reykjavik marved things, which was one of the biggest reasons they actually won that tourney

I think that Loud's run is incredibly impressive, due to the nature of how competitive champs 2022 was, but they did not beat prime optic at champs

GENG was dominating Madrid and were the favorites but sen were the only team capable of taking them down. All that did was just give GENG more fuel cause we all knew they were bound to win one after Madrid

Why does everyone rank FNC Tokyo as the greatest showing of all time? The top 3 at the next tourney were literally underpowered throughout this entire tourney meaning there was literally no competition for FNC. Even then FNC were struggling against EG with Boostio on Reyna of all agents lmao.

Even if they 3-0ed them the scorelines were still 13-8, 13-11, 14-12. Considering the fact that one player on EG always went double negative in one of the games there's no shot that if FNC was miles better than EG (a team that had little to no prep with demon1) would be struggling that hard especially on bind where the IGL was on a duelist.

Had EG not sold bind then they would've most def won ascent and we would be having a much different convo.

lowkey I think 2024 Shanghai GenG should be #1, they are the only team to go undefeated through a group stage and the entirety of playoffs and they even outclassed Fnatic in that very tournament though it was really close. call me crazy but I'd be confident betting on Shanghai GenG in a best of 3 series against any of these rosters, with Lakia shooting they didn't have a single weak link
