Why is val community considered as "snowflakes"?
if you play both games, you will see val is definitely softer. Trashtalk in CS is much more common and more accepted, and in the esports scene it is more inline with traditional sport, whereas in val we have many people esp on vlr complaining about how certain people dont deserve criticism because of things happening in their life etc.
its up to you which community you think is better
i think trashtalk shld be more prevalent but i think players in val are more open about their life problems so i understand why people defend them
valorant just appeals to a more general audience, including people who might be easier to offend/arent used to banter. more people=more variety
Riot warns and punish players for saying anything not family friendly on Lan Tournments
Every month u have random twitter drama (usually weird ones ), that shoudnt even be mentioned
Full of kids that doesnt know how to deal with trashtalk in game
People in Vlr Almost never come up with a good thread
And many other things
I think as a Vlr community we should fix it. Any suggestions? I think we should get hard.
I think the audience in masters or champs should chant like in Cs, when i was getting into val i was watching mainly tarik and he said something really smart, that val tournament are like theater ,like performance and cs is like actual sport so if the audience starts to chant maybe we can make it like an actual sport
val's more casual whereas CS is basically a cesspool of bad apples (both online and irl)
val because even if u defend yourself against ppl being sexist/racist towards u. u might get banned for it
At least we are not being brainwashed for playing Val like I genuinely have seen people creating edits like real men play cs and sigma play CS type shit which I donβt understand treat game as game no matter how good or bad it is and never say Val in front of cs people they will get ragebaited easily
