happy to hear my glorious king is doing well
tbh this is just because sensors have gotten better and people stopped having weird placebo misconceptions about low and high DPIs. I remember when the rule of thumb was that 400dpi was the most stable and usually had no smoothing or accel. With new fancy flawless sensors it really doesn't matter, and thus people have started to go higher since most people don't actually like 400dpi on desktop
Measuring latency differences between polling rates is also just... meh. The difference between 1k (the standard for gaming mice since like 2016) and 8k is 0.875ms. About 15 times lower than the amount that people can actually feel (from memory). higher polling rate is beneficial though if you have a very high refresh rate monitor (360hz+) since the higher polling rate results in smoother motion due to the mouse position just being updated more often. You're much more likely to notice the difference in smoothness than in the latency, even when comparing something dumb like 125hz to 8k
The testing methodology used by people like Optimum tech and Battlenonsense is flawed. It tracks the distance required for the mouse to start tracking from a standstill, not latency. A lower DPI just means the threshold for when the mouse starts tracking from a standstill is higher. Past the first poll, the latency is exactly the same between 67dpi and 676767dpi
idk seems fine to me just now on pc
Moved to UK or Finland flagging for the vibes?

AM on PC was a shitty user experience for me personally, but it integrated well with ios. Apple Music didn't have a ton of the albums i listen to
naur, spotify very high (320kbps opus iirc) is more than plenty for literally everyone, unless you're obsessive about lossless (and even then they have lossless now)... Spatial audio is kind of a meme
i've used spotify, apple music and tidal and spotify is the best overall
spotify has by far the best personalized recommendations, the best user experience (PC/Android, although I used AM with an iPhone) and the biggest catalogue of music. even tho I don't like Spotify as a company and i think they could pay their artists a bit more theyre still the best for the average listener
playing any instrument is cool, except guitar cuz it's what i do
fair, unrelated but i'm sadge yay didnt get picked up, i understand why but i wanted to see yay mysterio
agreed, I like to take walks to think things through and to clear my head but during the winter it's such an unfulfilling experience where you just want it to be over all the time to where I end up just holed up in the house for most of the winter
Probably florescent realistically, some of the old msf/v1 flor clips were ridiculous
Murphy's law was "anything that can go wrong will go wrong"
I used to be a serial ranter, i would honestly just bitch and moan about whatever went wrong during my day, I realized at some point that it was bringing me down and only making me focus on the negatives of my day so nowadays I like to focus on the positives and it helps alot with feeling good.
I think people who complain constantly (especially about trivial things) are just stuck in a negative feedback loop where a bad thing happens > you react and complain > you get into a bad mood and start focusing on the negatives > a bad thing happens ...
I also find it alot better to deal with the problems that I have by myself because I'm able to detach my emotions from the problem much easier when I sit and think about my issue instead of blurting it all out in someone's messages or during a conversation with someone, at which point it's completely pointless for me to even complain about it
def, she's really come to her own musically over the past couple years
thanks! didn't know the full roster. not sure about the coaching staff but the roster looks pretty decent honestly
Did nerve have a team lined up for 2026? I remember hearing something but can't recall and honestly can't be bothered trying to look atm
i play stockholm when i feel like turning off my brain and just playing without thinking too much, it can be fun if u get a friendly group of russians who speak 3 words of english
