I think they need to drop Breach and put JonahP on either Kayo or Viper. Then have Leaf flex between a Sentinel or secondary Duelist and they should be good no?

i think their roles are perfectly fine they just got hero played on by prx
leaf excels in his role as a lurker so putting him on 2nd duelist would be a bit poo

these are considered hero plays
PRX won Split despite double pistol win by G2. G2 also lost the macro game pretty badly on Lotus. If anything, G2 held on with hero plays and stingers.

g2 had 1 singular hero round
the rest of g2's rounds that were won were all pretty decisive
I did add "hero plays and stingers".
Now, I have not checked back but I am pretty sure they lost most of the rifle rounds on Lotus, especially on defense.
i thought you were bundling them into 1 (i.e hero plays from stingers)
i mean yeah i guess but using stingers isn't a hero play thing, its like using a judge on split, its literally a good weapon that rewards you if you play it properly
I dont think using stingers is hero play. G2 have actual starts around this and they are pretty good at it. But you cant win a map if your rifle rounds aren't mostly converted, no?
i think that just comes down to paper rex being a team full of aimers whilst g2 has jonah utility professor
PRX had aim too but on Lotus they actually played really well as a team IMO. That's why although it got close (since G2 is actually good on this map and didn't have to rely on someone having an insane performance or PRX choking), PRX still won. I bet G2 will VOD review this and change their stuff on defense side a lot.
Read this man, lotus was 2 pistols, 2 eco wins, 1 light buy win for PRX where G2 had none of those kinds of wins
Besides from that like PRX clearly played better, but the stinger buy was the same cost as the PRX buy
Most of the "hero" rounds were because G2 were playing situations really badly and just gifting PRX kills, like the 1v3 patmen clutch on split where G2 gave patmen three 1v1s instead of double swinging or playing more disciplined like they usually would.
1v3 patmen clutch goes as follows:
they double swing elbow but patmen gets 1 and backs off, then timings the second one
to kill the 3rd one he prowlers from elbow and peeks out the left and catches the kill
patmen just outplayed them, it wasnt a discipline thing lol

Leaf and Valyn do not double swing and Leaf was not caught on a timing, patmen just swings wide and then leaf had bad crosshair placement because he wasn't expecting a wide swing.

they're kinda giving PatMen kills but not. The fade ult was still effecting them. He peeks one and catch Valyn while they're still deafen by the fade ult. PatMen then throw haunt to confuse them, then peeks again, catching leaf.
At the 1v1 situation, PatMen hears that Trent was dropping from tower. And because he can still see the trail, he use prowler hoping to catch him off guard, and it works.
The prowler didn't get Trent, but by peeking from the opposite side of the prowler, he caught Trent off guard.
It's a combination of bad positioning from G2 and great utility understanding from PatMen
I didn’t know prx fans were dumb enough the one play was valyn I only saw was the only hero play from g2
I'm wholeheartedly disagree, not by the hero play statement, but for the narrative that he gives, which could be taken as, "G2 weren't lost because of not so great agent comps, it's just PRX hero played them"
I think G2 should pick into some jett maps and go double duelist.. its something they wont need to prac hard to get right, the comps are simple and if leaf can get some confidence again, or maybe leaf skye maps, he just needs to be more active in the pack
I’m still hoping for Trent to play Raze like he used to on double duelist split comps with Tex. He’s in the form for it and it lets JonahP get off Breach duty to play Fade/Sova instead given how uncomfortable he looks on Breach now.
Feel like professor P has not been at his best for some time now. His util is still good, but he doesnt shoot like how he used to
