How did you guys get into VCT?

For me, after I saw some yay's clips in 2022 I decided to tune into Masters Reykjavik

no way we're actually the same. the japanese casters yelling yay clip is still rent free in my head

I started watching VCT just because of the Legend "the human edshot machine" ScreaM. It was really fun to watch TL back then.

Mine started from watching a Singapore vct group called UwU in SG/MY area.

Downloaded valorant>watched what champs abilities were on yt>champs was going on at that time>youtube recommended a live stream>I watched>addicted since

Followed cs all my life, saw val liked it so been following both simultaneously since beta so I guess the twitch rivals (I don’t remember the full name)

played Valorant since beta and was aware of esports but never got into it. Decided to give it a watch last year and haven't stopped since.

3 years ago YouTube start recomending me valorant video because at that time i was playing wild rift and used to play a lot of LoL, and one day youtube recommend me VCT Challenger Indonesia and i was like "i have nothing to watch i guess i watch this" and that how i got into VCT

I was mainly watching streamers like smthlikeyou11, emilshe1n and prod. and then I got a bit tired of watching ranked all the time, so I decided to watch vct in 2024 and also watch some ranked streamers for a more refreshing experience

Was told back in 2020/2021 (i cant remember atp, but i think it was immediately after first strike ended or teh first masters that sinaatra won) that valorant was hype, and my friends were watching so i ended up tuning in, and just kept watching even after they stopped. Sen's win in 2021 defo helped keep me interested, and the fact that NA always ended up with at least 1 or 2 good teams at an international early on made me stay longer
