brother brother. liquid don't have their igl, star player, lurker. they aren't like g2/prx who have a sixth player who knows strats. 2 days of prep and u make it that close is completely unexpected

If you don’t have an igl you would play a style that then doesn’t require you to rely on an igl… the point is simply not having an igl isn’t a problem is how you perform which in liquid’s case is In a vacuum. For all we know they may end up worse with nAts > Penny.

Aka it’s do able… this is nothing more than changing how your team plays which isn’t inherently to their detriment especially to the point of being indicative of not even playing a close game.

yeah that's what i based it off, even if you insert a week instead the point stood just as well compared to BLG and it wasn't exactly a stomp

I hate that i swapped my pickem last minute on the TL/BLG match, i was going back and forth ever since the Nats news, had faith in Penny to make an impact and he did but it wasnt enough.
Tl played better than expected with some crazy hero plays from serial penny and patitek
BLG didn’t have any reads to go on in facing a tl without nats. penny is a good player and put up a good fight, but I think tl only won the rounds they did because blg has little info on their playstyle without nats, while tl has every read on blg
my point. all these guys saying prep time. that went out the window its just 2 teams duking it out and blg won
Fr, I will say tl has a disadvantage by adding a new player, but he seemed to fill his roll and do well in the time they had. Blg just gunned them down ngl
hey thats not a good thing to say, imo Team Liquid were on a big disadvantage, since they didnt have their best player, and igl. but i think that Blg played really well too
