Imagine if you took all the best CS players at the moment, donk, zywoo, ropz etc... Locked them up in a basement and forced them to learn valorant, focusing on learning 1 role each (donk learns duelist, ropz learns initiator etc...)

1- How long do you think it would take them to fully learn and master the game
2- Assuming they do, how well do you think a team like that would do against current teams

it would take them about 1 1/2 months ( w/ good coaching )
they would not win anything but they would get like top 5 champs

i think you would go to prison for kidnapping multiple people

as long as I go to prison after my experiment has come to fruition and we win a trophy.

i think they would fail under pressure and start to just shoot and not use util unless you give them like half a year of ranked + scrims and good coaching and in valorant's current state util is very important

Probably quite well considering the mechanics of valorant are generally a lot easier and more forgiving than CS, hardest part imo would be learning the depth of agents, util, counters etc

S1mple played a shit ton of valorant and barely reached immortal

The games are different and require different aptitudes than those of CS, so yes a team of top CS players would probably be enough for T1 or at least top T2 based on raw mechanics, but to compete with the best would require a lot more

he's been immo 3 7 times. that seems a lot better then "barely reaching"

“Barely” depends on the context, by the way people in here say val’s mechanics are very basic you’d expect one of the greatest CS players of all time to reach and stay in immortal

Getting to immortal a bunch of times and then immediately falling back down is in fact barely reaching immortal

nice bait bro your zellsis word.. u dont even know ranked system if "immediately falling back down"

Boohoo i showed how the goat fucking sucked at the game so you’re arguing semantics to avoid my main point

What’s next, gonna talk about how i’m dumb for saying “sucked” about an immortal player?

I would unlock that basement and let them free.

Players of such mechanical caliber shouldn't be restricted to a game with lower skill ceiling and higher skill floor. It's unrewarding for them and they probably wouldn't stand out that much in valorant.
