On Behalf of Koreans

I would like to apologize. Although I was unaware of this, apparently there was a racist forum posted towards SEA fans. Racism should never be condoned and I'm unsure of how this relates to the termi vs. FrosT situation in the first place. Again, on behalf of all Korean fans, I would like to apologize to those who were harmed by the usage of slurs.

Also, before anyone calls me a hypocrite: I have been firm in my hostile stance towards those who do not uphold the idea of innocent until proven guilty. This included calling out SEA fans who have historically been involved in DRX drama. However, in no shape or form does this mean I endorse hatred towards SEA. Rather, it was to call out extreme cases when it appears as though people were focused on VCT success instead of professionally handling the situation. PRX fangirls baselessly accusing Flashback and advocating for his removal from DRX, for example.

I think it’s important to take a step back and keep in mind that this shouldn’t be some SEA vs KR war.

There is clearly some ongoing issue in the Pacific comp scene that needs to be resolved and I presume both sides have their reasons and their truths.

Hopefully there will be some investigation into this before either the SEA or KR region get tarnished based on word of mouth.

This is my main issue with Frost. While Frost might be perfectly right or have a strong belief in his stance, I believe as a coach he should consider the team themselves and the knock on effects his actions will have on both his team and players and audiences. Koreans (not all obviously) are notorious for being highly racist and xenophobic, especially to South East Asians. The Thai players and staff have nothing to do with this issue yet they are getting berated by racist comments and while it's obviously not Frost's fault that some Koreans behave in this manner, he should have considered that his actions will have consequences on more than just himself.

Perhaps Frost could not hold it any longer but this seemed too petty for me. I also think the Korean fans and staff have a right to be mad at FROST, but ONLY Frost since he's the only one who has ever been vocal or said anything about the matter. Overall this situation has spiraled out of some petty drama and RIOT needs to take immediate action.
