that's the thing, teams that consistently win because they are the best at playing meta comps is BORING

loud used that ascent comp for ages and were the best at it but guess what, ascent at that time was still BORING

a team can be boring and good at the same time, especially in a meta that favors them (optic, edg, g2), and i respect them for doing what it takes to win but they can for sure still be boring

just say u dont like watching competitive valorant or find it boring and stick to ranked gameplay with reyna then.. cause no matter what a combination of agents WILL always be better and teams will stick to that, grind it and win. Thats just how this game works.

Optic was not boring. I was pulling my hair out mad that they kept beating my favourite teams, but i wasnt bored.

Edg won champs playing off meta comps like clove omen on lotus. China winning is always hype, never boring.

G2 is not boring. You just dont enjoy perfect discipline valorant. Like my mind is blown by how perfected the little things their players do it. They have insane game iq and it shows.

edg is a bad example because kk wasn't exclusively using neon but it was what helped them get the trophy so that's why i added them there

optic is the only other example i can think of because they used chamber to the fullest extent but unlike tejo there was a certain flair to playing chamber at the highest degree that tejo doesn't bring, because at the very least chamber had players taking more risks and peeking more with ult but tejo is just sitting halfway across the map and waiting for someone to tap spike

g2 is a good team & i rooted for them last year because watching them play good valorant was enjoyable, but this meta just isn't fun to watch. has nothing to do with g2 as a team because they're cracked, it's more to do with what they represent & the state of the game as a whole

Multiple things are true at one:

G2 are really good and fun to watch
Trent is really good and plays tejo especially well
tejo util bombardment and postplant is not fun to watch.
tejo is OP and too easy to play and that's part of why Trent stats are absurd.

This is the meta right now, and that's fine. I'd prefer if Toronto kept current tejo stuff, then nerf after. OP metas are still fun for a while.
