They won't split up unless it's for retirement. Watching the matches and post interviews, they know their chemistry has gotten so good that it'd be a waste not to keep going. They already saw the results from last year.

FNS said on his stream that the chemistry that SEN have right now is rare and he only experienced that in his Optic valorant team out of the 10 years he's been playing.

Madrid was an officially recognized masters event unlike lock-in. But I guess every tournament where your favorite teams does not qualify or win is a mickey mouse tournament

posted 1 month ago

This is the most sane post I've read in the past months here. Absolute W.

For me, I just want to watch some VCT tournaments at the end of the day mickey mouse or not. Mickey mouse tourney term is also degrading and disrespecting the efforts of both those putting in effort to participate and organizing it. In AfreecaTV, SEN traveled to Korea to play and so did other APAC teams, no one traveled that far to just play in a "mickey mouse tournament"

  1. Zekken - Duelist
  2. Karon - Controller

True, it's a rollercoaster of emotions supporting this team but I'll continue rooting for this team while Alecks desk is still alive.

A win is a win and in the end, it's the victors that will be remembered in history nobody will say asterisk fluke win, it will just be masters madrid winners a few years from now.

100T best comms, made me laugh with FNS reaction

posted 1 month ago

Munchkin definitely got me fired up with all the banter and it's nice but I think it was even motivating SEN even more to win. Just like the PRX vs Heretics match.

PRX will win someday when they become more disciplined. They got the potential.

Congrats on the win 🏆 Man it's been a long journey for anyone who's been following SEN since Iceland or even before. It's been hard but I'm so happy for this roster that they finally won after working so hard off season, kick off, and masters. Call it a fluke or whatever but this team has put in the work, hard work, they were resilient as kaplan said and that earns respect even if you hate their fans.

I'm glad I bought the SEN bundle during kickoff.

I still have to match the matches though jwu

Hahaha sorry

Nice bait. Why bring this up now when they just won a tournament.

posted 1 month ago

Would you have said that this was a fluke win if GENG, PRX, LOUD, or even KC won it?

posted 1 month ago

It's a mental thing. Complacency for the grand finalist. I noticed it in the SEN vs GENG match. Meanwhile SEN were coming in hot they know their road is harder.

This is where fans should appreciate the resiliency and mental fortitude of SEN not just the aim or strats.

JohnQT said they didn't care either way about the 2 map bans that GENG had and that's saying confidence.

I knew it GENG would choke NT though for being so dominant.

Hello espeon

They improved a lot during Madrid and they'll only keep getting better. Top 3 is more than we can ask for because it's usually Top 2 😅

As much I'm not really enjoying watching Monyet perform, dropping a person and slotting them with a new player for immediate results doesn't work. Just look at SEN last year.

W gaming will be back better next series

FNC I can understand but NAVI lol did we watch the same EMEA kick off

Nice trivia

Everybody misses jinggg. If there's a person that shouldn't receive any hate it's that guy, just goes in and does his thing.

posted 1 month ago

This was more than I personally expected because they are still meshing with monyet. They were dealing with role issues, coach Alecks also mentioned this in one of the post match conference.

Compared to how they were playing before this is better from then.

Tbf only TH gave them a challenge on Sunset and PRX stomped SEN on Split

posted 1 month ago

First of all, glad to see the Tenz haters back in the sewers. Second, PRX definitely improved a lot as a team during this masters and W gaming will be back better than ever. I believe they should stick together and don't drop anyone.

Don't forget that Tarik is a real life person and is allowed to cheer for or not cheer for or react to anyone he wants the same with you. He's not some robot or duly deputized upholder of neutrality. He streams the games for fun, the bag, and contract with SEN and people watch him to watch with him 😅 not for him to be an unbiased commentator. In other words, you're not obligated to watch him and he's not obligated to cater to you.

posted 1 month ago

True, but I'd rather wait out till grand finals but like I said, only way GENG realistically lose is if they choke. I still have some hopium for PRX in lowers though.

posted 1 month ago

Until GENG win grandfinals, they are not the best team in the world. They could still choke it but they played insane this series.

posted 1 month ago

It's better for SEN to come in hot through lowers. GenG will get very confident now and will not play till Sunday.

posted 1 month ago

What does this mean for C9's legacy though?

Still owns loud and china though 😂

PRX (Pacific) beat EG (America) first to reach grand finals in champions 2023 https://www.vlr.gg/event/1657/valorant-champions-2023/playoffs then EG 3-1 them in a best of 5 in grand finals. Geng are good but first to grand finals is a disadvantage.

posted 1 month ago

Actually. He was a good controller on GE but I hope they reconsider after this. They're teamplay and coordination took a decline and Monyet didn't really help improve this, they even had to change their agent lineups for him. Still hoping they win.

posted 1 month ago

If they were looking for another jinggg, explosive duelist all that why Monyet? (previously a controller player from GE). All players are getting messed up by role issues.

posted 1 month ago

Ain't gonna lie vibes kinda down on the team watching from the stream. They made a sudden change in comps on split from triple duelist, adopted SEN's comp that's why they had a hard time. They'll be back on Map 2 and 3.

Kaplan can finally have some sleep, well deserved team

posted 1 month ago

Omen's not gonna get nerfed. Playing smart and agressive is not the same as the agent being busted. Chamber and Jett were prime examples of busted agents.

posted 1 month ago

We honestly needed a new cool duo. I miss the forsaken and jinggg duo. Glad the there's Tenz and Zekken now

posted 1 month ago

whatever makes you sleep at night buddy

posted 1 month ago

they could -- if they don't get eliminated before play-offs. It's still anyone's tourney to win at this point

posted 1 month ago

I heard Zellsis talking to Sacy on comms about winning another championship ("let's win another one"), they have the goal and mentality to get to and hopefully win champions. Old SEN got cocky after winning 1 tournament w/o dropping a single map and didn't invest in coaching staff, strats, and didn't do VOD reviews (dapr said this in an interview) they just focused on scrims that's why they lost and flopped after reykjavik. Honestly, this tourney is essentially a practice for SEN if they're targeting champions.

posted 1 month ago

no, the team finally has chemistry. Sacy shoots when required, honestly he didn't need to.

posted 1 month ago

tbf though, you'd be making fun of them if you won. Everyone's waiting for their chance, GG

Nice jinx

I was going to reply to other comment so mb. Yes it is lung disease but not an auto immune disease

posted 1 month ago

it's not fake. They don't advertise it, a lot of people already knew this. SEN honestly had to bench him for a series because of it.

posted 1 month ago

asthma not an auto immune disease

posted 1 month ago

I heard boaster talk about this same stuff on stream about the team not practicing during off season, honestly sad they fell off but boaster did say, they scrimmed with KC a lot that's why they lost against KC
