BOOM in absolute shambles. T1 dreadful. Nongshim toothless. Talon coinflip every map. DRX shuffling roster every week and deep in scrimsharing drama.

PRX is kinda just walking through a graveyard. They are not even doing anything particularly great. There just isnt any resistance.

RRQ is good but inexperienced at the top level. They will keep doing well domestically but i doubt they can win Toronto. GenG is decent too but not even close to how good they were last year.

I am quite disappointed with the region honestly and would comfortably slot them in 3rd globally ahead of china right now

GenG makes playoffs still I think there's enough teams that are inexperienced to or fluked to make it in order for them to make playoffs (I'm predicting this with emea in mind as well because bracket luck means a probably good team will miss out most likely)

But yeah I agree all regions are struggling and especially now that theres a huge gap between regionals and toronto (for all but one region xd) its idiotic to make confident claims about region performance. This happens time and time again though and vct fans never really learn, most of these teams will just look substantially different in an international.

I think Toronto will be a lot more competitive than most people believe itll be. The only teams Im fairly confident will bomb out are EMEA 2nd and 3rd seed really

DRX and GenG are looking so good right now, DRX haven't been shuffling roster, and Foxy9 is looking to fill in Meteor's big shoes. PRX has looked way more disciplined the last 2 games and the aim is there as well. We shall see who will be the 3rd team to get to Toronto.
