because jawgemo has been wayyyy better than zekken this season. its a pretty bad take.

yeah you're right. usually when someone gets -27 it's because they say something heinously ban-worthy.
jawg is better on duelist, but I lowkey think zekken is a better player overall . Can't go wrong with either though.
It doesn't matter if zekkens better on other roles if jawgs better on duelist since they're not flex players.
jawgemo was just a shadow of Demon1 back in 2023 unfortunately. In 2024 he got destroyed all year and even lost MIBR 2024. And now in 2025 he joined a team that has a strong core that played together for ages, and his only task is to be better than Icy(not hard)
Zekken has been way more consistent throughout the years as a star player and he is a Masters MVP.

zekken cause g2 is really good so they make jawg look really good, they use jawgs skills very good but its not like zekken is insanely better, just a little, if g2 win any torny, id say jawg then.

Yeah, they send him face first into a blender with a ton of supportive util but with the full expectation that he’ll die and they’ll trade him out. He’s only surviving so much because he’s on perma-Yoru.

zekken thinks better and better aimer but tilts and get lost easier. jawgemo more flare and dynamic but also more mature with the game and pop offs more.
Zekken. G2 made icy look decent jawgemo is good but any acceptable duelist will look good with them.
That not clear at all. Icy started off slow and got increasingly better to where he was a high impact player for them. His peaks were winning them games and even with his inconsistency he was keeping up with the rest of the team. It’s also a GREAT team… clearly… even if he was the worse he’s the worse among players who are some of the best in their roles? Like what lol that doesn’t make him bad.
That one game where eg beat Sen who were in a slump and proceeded to do nothing the entire year? Yeah what about it

Never claimed that at all lmao. I’m saying any solid duelist will be on G2 his results are inflated by a incredible team vs him being a incredible individual… not to say he’s not… he beat Zekken on a way worse team and Zekken MVP’d at a masters. 3rd place popping champagne type of take…
And if dying less didn’t inflate vlr stats then jawgemo would be champs mvp so
I think it's telling that what zekken has done thus far hasn't been good for him, any other duelist holding the highest acs against keznit whilst being down 13-8 and diffing aspas in a bo5 is having a AMAZING game. For Zekken that's subpar. It just speaks to the levels of difference between someone like zekken and someone like jawgemo being the WORST rated player on his team in kickoff. And even other top duelist. Zekkens floor is their ceiling. Crazy really.
Jawg is a world champ and has made 3 international finals — being the MVP of 2 of them. Zekken has made 1. What are you waffling about?
My point wasn't that zekken won a masters as an MVP and thus is better are you dumb or are your G2 lenses stopping you from seeing reason? I brought that up because the person I'm responding to brought up ONE GAME from that SAME YEAR. Jawgemo also has never been the MVP of any event, wtf are you talking about.
Zekken is better overall player and more flexible in general but jawg is a better dive duelist, his raze, neon and waylay movement is just otherworldly. I feel like you never see jawg's full tap aim montage clips they are almost always movement outplay, spraydown or some crazy play no one ever goes for but zekken has so many pure aim clips. Both of them have similar yoru but jawg has some crazy plays as well that zekken doesnt go for.
super hard to compare them since they fundamentally serve 2 different purposes to their team. zekken is a little more reserved and activates off of the space provided by the team utility while jawgemo is almost like a piece of utility himself. zekken is often set up by his support system and jawgemo often is THE setup. both deserve spots in top 3 americas and top 5 worldwide at least
jawgemo looks better right now, but it could just be that jawg has better util support than zekken
