How popular is valorant at yalls places? Do you find it to be the major fps or still lacking behind cs

In Australia I’d say it’s fairly even now at least with teenagers over maybe 25-30 it’s still cs but Valorant is definitely on the come up
I can count the number of cs players that I know around here on my hand, for valorant I would at least have to use my feet too
in my schools game room valorant players outnumber cs like 11:1
cs doesnt even make the top 5 games played while val is #1
but that also could be because they dont know how to make a steam profile
Nobody plays Valorant or Cs here. Its mainly r6 fifa and cod if even anything
Val can be played by anyone, so in the general population, it's bound to be more popular.
For CS, you kind of have to use third-party platforms like FaceIt to enjoy the game so there's more hoops to jump through. The average 16-20 year old would much rather just click download and play.
I feel like CS fans are just oldheads from 1.6 or Source that die by CS or people who don't care for all the abilities and prefer the gunplay.
I wouldn't be so sure about that, God knows how many errors I've encountered just trying to get valorant running.

Valorant slightly edges cs out, but it's nothing to write home about. Mobile games reign Supreme here.
Used to be League is more popular but now with GenG and T1 winning the master events, I can honestly see more and more people trying out and playing Val even the teenagers are moving towards Valorant

In early 2010s League of Legends was the most popular esports in Turkey, then CS Space Soldiers happened and CS became really popular
After Space Soldiers died Valorant came out and It dominated the scene for 2-3 years, last year EF popped off and CS became popular again
And this year League of Legends is kinda revived too with popular turkish streamers joining TCL with their own team

But I would like to add that Valve does not support Turkish CS scene at all, so when Eternal Fire dies Valorant will be on top again with all the new produced talent
i can only speak for nordic countries but i would say its probably a solid 95/5 to cs in popularity
You can tell that from watching Tier 2 Northern Europe. It’s dominated by the UK atm. If val was as popular as CS in Nordic countries NE would be the strongest tier 2 region probably.
CS more popular in BeNeLux than Valorant
EDIT: It probably also depends on the age group though, I wouldn't be surprised if Valorant is more popular than CS among the 15-20 year old. As a 31 year old, most of my peers just grew up with CS, Valorant is "too new"
