Is it just me or have all of the new maps been consistently worse? I only really like lotus of the new maps, every other one just more consistently ass than the next
On a side note they really need to pull ascent from map pool and rework it

no it is not, pearl, sunset, and abyss, are fundamentally shit maps (Pearl Long, Sunset Main, Abyss Abyss)
pearl is fine... sunset is one of the most balanced maps ingame rn (after B-site changes).... i agree about abyss though...but m sure they will fix it later....
So only Abyss is kinda bad rn
Everyone keeps hating on the new map, so Riot keeps releasing maps that are even worse so people will stop hating on the old new map. It's simple

I only like abyss bc its a map where u can actually run a variety of duelist instead of the boring old omen, and the meta isnt fully discovered yet

I'm asking the question because the system is made a way every new map will be hated by low ELO. Why ? Because you test new map on a specific queue that doesnt share MMR with no other queue, which mean statistically you will play against player better than you, so you will loose with a horrible KD and start to hate the map. 2 week later you will finally have an MMR close to your real MMR, but the hurt will be done (and the queue will disappear), it will be put in your subconscious that you will hate the map.
Can I ask you your ELO and the winrate you had on the specific mapqueue ?

Where you also in positive during the 2 weeks on solo this map ? Because that what matter, being your first map may not be erase the traumatic experience of being 0.5 KD over 30 games. First though matter a lot
Not all of them are bad, but I think there defo are more bad maps than there should be
Lotus is alright but I hate defending on it
Sunset is decent after the B changes
Abyss is the worst map in any FPS since Tower in R6
