Well if you use your brain Kamyk was GrandFinals EMEA won Challengers, Kr1stal won CN Ascension and Ange1 won a ticket to Russia.
last years roster was the most lazily built team they had, just copy and pasted the core of Apeks and expected success
G2 copied and pasted 3 The Guard players. Copying and Pasting aren't the problem. Are Copying and Pasting FNS S0m and Ethan bad?
You don't know what's going on behind the scenes kid.
I get what you're saying but G2 literally IS The Guard and NRG is practically FNS and s0m at its core so these comparisons don't make any sense
Liquid went from Sayf, soulcas and Redgar to that lackluster core of ex-fnatic players
2/3 had success when they left liquid (Sayf and soulcas)
Also you are comparing 2 way different scenarios, G2 bought guard so they could be part of franchising
you had fucking enzo mistic and j0mpii last year rodent
kamo is better than all 3
how is this roster better on paper when we had ascension grand finalists last year and every year before that we have had world class talent?
lol what? the only good roster we had was in 2021 other rosters were fucking shit this years was a disgrace like disgustingly shit level
we've made 3 champions and 3 masters we have had good rosters especially in 2023 after lock in? i dont see this roster being better than last years ON PAPER. anything could happen though
The only rosters i consider good are 2021 and 2023 the rest is bullshit. Literally liquid just being happy to be there.
2023s roster looked like a super team?
sayf + nats + jamppi is a crazy combo
redgar and soulcas also had crazy peaks that you could see in a toptier roster at the time
overall bad season when they won emea and reached both events that year? some teams dream of reaching an event let alone winning the league
id much rather have mistic smokes and keiko duelist but yeah apart form xeus and izzy there isnt much here
Kamo was much better than Keiko last year tho. I don't think you remember how good kamo was
??? where has all this glaze for kamo come from?? keiko had better stats in kickoff and stage 1 lol ur just randomly making things up
kamo was statistically the best duelist in EMEA the one split his team was half competent
And is not a me thing, many teams want him, NAVI, M8 KOI, TL have all been interested
kamo was not statistically the best duelist in emea in stage 2?? cned had higher rating qutioner had higher rating sayf had higher rating derke had higher rating. koi reached their peak at the end of the stage when they had already completely flopped the earlier part of the year and still finished bottom of the emea league?
Vlr rating works funky let's say, but he had comfortably the highest ACS and tied for the highest FKPR the 2 most important duelist metrics imo
its bc hes not getting traded by his shit team
VLR rating heavily favors mfs that get trades and get traded
its why Leo is such a statistical darling, he plays far back and is consistently getting trades
Vlr rating is better than acs morti be real. But yes kamo is good when he is on.
I'm being real tho, vlr quite literally admitted it was flawed when they released 2.0 and that hasn't been around for too long. Ik of a few coaches that always go off of ACS
But don't get me wrong I'm a fan of rating, I think it's good, but all those stats are flawed
IDK where the Kamo glaze is coming from after one good split of 4 games, 2 of them against genuine bottomfeeders. He was literally the second worst duelist in split 1.
Is not glaze, regardless of what I think of him, he is genuinely the preferred option for most of the teams that are still looking for a duelist (TL KOI and M8) but maybe NAVI that has also seriously considered him. And that is for a reason
yeah and he fills the init role that we need, good frag igl + nAts 2nd calling
Interesting. Not sure how good keiko is on controller since he played mainly duelist his entire career.
The plan has been for him to switch from the beginning of the off season, is not that he has been forced there or something. I suppose that makes me think he's comfortable
is this good? not really
is this better than last year? yes
is this gonna win anything? no
is this the best they could do with the currently available talent? eh probably
is liquid gonna make a deep run?
i hope the fuck so
Not bad but I feel like you sacrificed skill for the sake of the players names starting with k
Would prefer a better player on smokes and keeping Keiko on Duelist for kamyk to hard bait
