Why 2024 Champions' melee named "Katana"?

Why not "Blade"?
It's look like RGX blade and Overdrive blade than Onimaru Kunitsuna (true katana), at least about holding style.
And I think Korean fan, with this Champions event at their home, never love this melee with name from Japanese.

You have a point. Actually, the knife is called Hwando, a traditional Korean blade. This was confirmed by the 2024 Champions skin designer, and there's even a video about it on Valorant Korea's YouTube channel. The feature that allows the blade to equip accessories on its grip comes from the Hwando — katanas don't have this feature.
