if riot makes split 2 work as qualifiers then whats the point of champions points
they can still qualify if they win a bunch of their games. They are only 3-3 in their group rn, tied with the other 2 teams that are 3-3. they dont even need to qualify through champ points
NRG have 6 matches in group to get points. same as c9. that requires NRG to win 2 more games than c9 just tie with them. Also KRU and G2 both also have 6 games. they need to win 3 more games than them too in groups just to tie.
no? its the top 6 teams with the most wins overall. the groups dont matter for split 2
thats even worse. if its 10 games to every team then NRG also need to consider KRU and LEV pts
No, you guys are wrong about the qualification system. The top 3 teams from split 2 playoffs go to champs then the next team with the highest league points outside of those 3 qualifies as the 4th team. Essentially all is still to play for.

The idea is that the most in form teams go to champs and people aren't out of the fight till it's over whilst also giving a spot to the team which may have had the limelight earlier on in the season i.e. sen rn
i hope theres a confirmation about the format from riot cus that is so stupid
that makes all the matches before split 2 become less relevant
it will be the same as split 1 with playoffs, whichever team does not make top 3 and is leading in points will get the 4th spot

Fns can save this team though. He doesn't need good players to outbrain the enemy, and he actually has a stacked lineup if we just take a step back. S0m is fantastic and ethan definitely clears Ardiis as a flex imo.
He can still play for NRG, fall just short of Champs, and then stream the tournament. I think that's his best bet if he still wants to make bank, hypothetically speaking
