I was always a way bigger fan of vanilla skyblock, but hypixel skyblock is more of an mmo than it is regular minecraft
Ironman Skyblock was so fun, reminded me of OSRS but I stopped playing cus Skyblock requires employment level hours otherwise standard is boring af

I only know about it because of technoblade, he made it seem fun, but from what I've heard its super grindy and gets quite repetitive.

played for like a month new profile this year got bored quick ngl, 800mil net worth cata 33 skill avg 30, Dungeons and farming was fun but the progression is js the same shit over n over
js checked old profile had abt 700hrs playtime 3bil nw mostly a mining no life
I js wanted to see how far i could get doing dungeons for a month since i really had everything that id want completed on my old profile and done with the game tbh, dropped a giant's sword n a shadow warp, was NOT waiting for a handle lmao
curious how you play the game though like dungeons grinding or mining/kuudra
rn im just grinding f7s/m4 since paul is up, juicy +10 score per run
outside of that im just starring my crimson (i play bers) and i guess the eventual end goal is a term
I played it religiously since like 2020 for like 3 years, now i have a 16B nw. It was really fun, especially dungeons and slayers, but now I have other stuff to focus on and don't feel i can play that much anymore.
Also the top is a bunch of no lifers who play all day every day because they don't have anything better to do. Like congrats you played 80 hrs in 5 days and earned 10B from mytho.
thats fair its just too much grinding and the prog walls are too big sometimes
i used to make money selling coins but the rate of $ per million became ass so i stopped
skyblock inflation has been crazy
when i played back in '22 booster cookies were like 3-4m and recombs were 3m
now theyre upwards of 10m and 8.8m respectively
i stopped playing properly after the 1st or 2nd pets update i used to be like top 100 in clay collection tho (before snow minions were meta for money)
Probably because of all of the children that spent money on gems for booster cookies quit or grew up

it was lowk fun though, but then at some point it just felt like i was pressured to do certain things i didnt want to

I used to play, i have like 1 or 2b nw, my coopmate tho has prob like 7 to 10b networth tho. tbh its just way too timeconsuming which makes it only fun if you have someone to talk to or smth. never liked dungeons tho since once it was f7 or higher everyone was tryna tryhard and like goldor shitt and i hate it and tryhard kids who take it too srs
Still occasionally get on as a “high” but not invested in the game at all 6b nw
