bro their staff are actually BAD like unnecessary bad, like bro deadass they just be flaming dem EDG players for the lols, their solution to their player getting more burnt out is them to use the burnout to somehow improve themselves lmfao wtf ?

Cultural relativism leads to situations like these where the work ethics/expectations in different places are so different to the ones we might be familiar with. What might be bad to us could be good for them.
also I dont see any world whereby giving your players so much pressure that become diamond actually work
except it’s the norm in china it’s really not that unusual to them especially as pros
hate it or love it, its this strict work ethics that the LPL several tourneys. I bet NRG,SEN,LOUD also have a similar work ethic, all though a tad little softer prob.
Once again, different work ethics, different styles of encouragement/training/etc.
EDG was horrible against LOUD. They weren't playing together, they weren't doing by their standards. I fail to see why After and Aqua shouldn't be allowed to drill it into them that they need to improve, especially after that shambolic showing.
Sure, there's a lot of pressure on the players, and that's to be expected, especially when EDG's supposed to represent China and be one of th strongest teams in the world.
they aint no NA players to cry about simple things. they are really patient and cooperative with their coaches and staffs which might be very unusual for NA
if they don't surpass 5-6th at Shanghai then most likely theres gonna be roster changes
its gonna be Haodong most likely. potentially nobody? not too sure but id imagine its either haodong replaced or staff changes/addons
Personally I feel like a staff shuffle is more likely than a player roster rebuild. I'm a bit biased because I really like the chemistry between the five but I agree that Haodong/nobody is the weaker link.
I'd keep Haodong because he's IGL
It might be a chemistry problem. I think all 5 are good players but something is off with the team vibe when they start losing. Idk if coaching is an issue but they're def gonna replace players.
I agree. I feel like nowadays everytime they start losing they just accept it and lose.
for sure i think they need to change their staff, their team is already pretty well together and I cant think of anyone who could replace any of the players
Everyone except kang kang and smoggy could go, idk who will tho(nobody should go if he doesn’t change roles or start playing like an initiator)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5qyOUt1RZw&t=531s&ab_channel=waywardzz staff screaming as haodong with tears in his eyes
wow he had tears in his eyes after losing 5-26 i guess the best his coach could´ve done was go and say them "you did good next time you´ll get 6"
How exactly is being sarcastically saying "gee atleast we win domestic lan" and mocking them better
what? ofc its better he expresses how much he trusts in them and how much he wants them to win but they are just playing bad, he doesnt even insult them or disrespect them, he knows the biggest issue of his team is thinking they are good enough to not try their best because of winning with ease regionally, and whats the result? they are out, why go to a tourney to go out like that?
He isn't screaming? He's just talking loudly with a grave tone to encourage them to do better.
eh whatever, if they want to speedrun 5 players retirement thats their issue
Thats more like a parental scolding while tryna motivate them for the next games. Obviously shes not screaming at them tryna make them feel like shit but I see why people from other countries could view it that way. All the staff is just clearly dissapointed since 5-26 is pretty unacceptable at that level. Though idk if this approach is good, even if it is more commonly accepted there
I agree with you. I don't blame them for being frustrated with the players when they definitely put a lot of effort into training for these big matches.
Also, I think aaron is a guy.
That seems fine to me, as long as they dont put the blame on just one person
