Hello guys, I'm going to be in Shanghai for 2 days in July and I'm wondering if I should go watch a VCT CN LAN (given they're running during my time there)?
Hello guys, I'm going to be in Shanghai for 2 days in July and I'm wondering if I should go watch a VCT CN LAN (given they're running during my time there)?
I mean why not especially because you seem to be interested in the chinese scene
Don't know yet but I hope there's going to be a game because I'm only there for 2 days.
Certainly! If you're going to be in Shanghai and have an interest in the VALORANT esports scene, checking out a VCT CN LAN event could be a thrilling experience. these events often offer a vibrant atmosphere, the chance to watch top-tier gameplay live, and the opportunity to connect with the community. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on event calendars for any updates or other gaming events that might coincide with your visit. Enjoy your trip and the potential esports action! 🎮
If I'm assuming correctly then you'd probably be there for Split 2, where I'd say that the Omega group matches look a bit more interesting than the alpha group.
Absolutely. You seem like a big fan of Chinese valorant and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it
Yeah, just have to wait to see the schedule and convince my parents to let me go.
China got some banger LANs this year, Valorant Masters Shanghai and CS2 IEM Chengdu and Shanghai Major in December
We visited China once before for summer break and really enjoyed it, so now we're going again.
No, my family has ties to China but they haven't considered going on trips (Covid and VISA and stuff) there until these two years.
My mother studied Mandarin in Beijing and my father worked there for a couple years.
mkay communist spy im watching you american patriotic music humms in the background
Me personally I would say no, especially because as a fellow westerner visits to east asia are incredibly rewarding however culture shock is very obvious, even if you've been before. I would make the most of your time there exploring the city and trying new things rather than spending 25% of your time watching vct since you can do that whenever
That's what I'm thinking as well. I don't usually get the chance to visit a non-European country but I've also only been to one live sporting event in my life.
A family friend bought my sibling and I football tickets to the Beijing Guoan vs Wuhan Three Towns match last year when I was in Beijing.
go for it!
unless you live in cities where VCT takes place in its pretty rare to go see these games in person so take the opportunity to experience what a LAN is like
farmers league its like going to usa to watch football match ahah come to europe vct
No time to travel to Berlin. I only brought it up because VCT CN happens to be held in Shanghai.
