has their been any black pros in valorant, at least T2 or maybe even T3?
somebody said valyn is black/half black.. yaboidre used to play for 100T and luminosity way back then.. hes now an engineer for Rito
valyn (im pretty sure?), dgzin, virtyy. thats all i can think of off the top of my head
is there a reason why there's not that many black players in franchise? are there more in esports for other games? idk i dont watch other esports
I've seen a lot of black FN pros though but maybe its just that FN is super big especially at its peak
fn is more engraved in black culture. lots of big celebrities like drake and travis scott play it, and lots of "w/l" streamers like adin ross and speed play
are you saying that black ppl are more likely to be a fortnite pro because drake played with ninja once and travis scott had a concert?
It's all about representation isn't it? Have any black artists done any of the cinematic music or tracks in valorant? Are there any famous black people who aren't famous for playing valorant who have played the game and promoted it? Even in terms of agents, there are only 2 black agents out of over 20 now. I get that riot tries to appeal to all ethnicities when it comes to agents, but these are all valid point, on top of the fact that there is no market for valorant in Africa either, so it makes sense that there aren't many black pros because there aren't that many black valorant players to begin with.
black people definitely play val wtf do you mean bro, its just massive in the black community yet because pc gaming isnt
This is true, not many of us play on PC when i switched from PS4 to PC i ended up buying a PS5 because most of my friends refused to put the money into a PC and switch. I'd personally love to see more representation in the league but console is still the current meta for black people
VCT legend
Always gonna remember the yoru on ascent and haven against TL in 2021
yes there are, but its like 5% of the pros or even less, sad to see this difference
wait idk if you baiting but tanzania is literally on africa how is he indian
there's a small representation indeed, but there are a few.
however, this is not a valorant pro thing, nor is it an issue of potential talent, rather it's a PC gaming thing. most black gamers (in NA and UK at least) are console oriented
asian plays pc games from young age cuz parent aint buying no console to them. they play on their dads' thick ass slow laptop to start their gaming journey.
white and eu folks play pc games too cuz console fps aint that big overthere.
american white, half console half pc
american black, black family dont got money for pc. if anything, they will buy their children console to play games.
africa black, no access to pc and internet.
ok lets relax a little bit, there are wealthy parts of Africa that can afford pc's and internet. And most black american families contrary to popular belief can afford nice things, PC gaming just isn't advertised a lot to us until we get older.
