imagine navi with s1mple on the roster vs faze. instant +400k viewers. valorant players forget how popular sen as an org and tenz as a player are. sen TENZ in final = guarantee viewership. people dont understand that. loud is the next fan favorite after sen. so imagine if we have sen vs loud. thats gonna be a banger for the view count.

lets just see "if" sen got unlucky and couldnt make it to the final in the next val big tourney. what viewercount are we gonna get. just watch.

game viewership.

There are 3 main factors when it comes to high viewership count.

  1. If brazil or NA are in the grand final. Instant +400-500k viewers.
  2. If a superstar is in final. Another instant +400-500k viewers.
  3. If the final was very close between and got into multiple OTs on the last map. The viewership will 2x or 3x.

It doesnt matter if its a regular lan event or a championship or a major. As long as its a lan event. This will apply.

The fact that sentinel(NA team) with tenz(superstar) get to a very close intense final with geng hitting multiple overtime rounds brought up the views.

Cs final faze vs navi. They got stars but no superstars in the final. No s1mple playing. No brazil no NA no twistzz and it wasnt even a close game on map 3. Faze got shit on and they still have decent viewership count. That shows cs has a bigger audience than valorant in 2024 in general. Valorant still have a long way to go given its still young.

U have 2 choices basically. Competitive which is like unrated. U have a rank but people suck here. They will start everyone one off from silver rank even if have won a majority of the first 10 games. Then u have faceit for a more serious competitive play. Premier is a cheater fest just dont even bother playing. Dm dust2 are usually pretty filled. The rest of the game mode depends on what time and what map ur playing but most people dont play that anyway. I can guarantee u that u can find a 10 man lobby very fast in those 2 modes

If they don’t release anything, the player base will complain. Thats why they are either throwing out trash new character or super op characters and later nerf it to death. Hero theme game audience cant live without the game being “fresh” every 3 months. Or i should say thats the issue with gen z. They constantly need new stuff to feed into their brain to get that “fun” whereas older folks dont need no change in what they already liked

People play basketball, soccer, tennis etc how many years long already? Anything major had changed? Probably none. Are people still playing them? Yes.

When a game or a sport or anything is fun that has a huge replayability than it will live forever. U dont really need meta changes like cough, league of legends, overwatch, valorant etc to shake up the meta to proceed to make the game fresh and interesting. Thats the issue with hero theme game. U need new stuff every week or ur adhd audience will not stick around. Look at cod, it’s basically the same thing and people still buy it every year. Valorant is literally worst than cod when it comes to the replayability. Matter fact, people still enjoy the og character more than any new character thats released recently. Jett replayability is 100x more harbor/iso/clove/deadlock and many others. People play certain characters to win for the sake of it is the meta. They dont play it because its fun. U want fun, everyone will probably be on jett, reyna chamber, raze, phoenix and other og characters.

u will need s1mple in the final to bring up views. just like how we need tenz to be in the final to bring up view. these 2 men will singlehandedly bring up at least 200k views alone. and the game needs to be very close like having multiple OT for views to go up. sadly we dont got s1mple here in this tourney. unless we get faze vs g2 in the grand final. otherwise the viewership will not hit higher than 1.6m more than val this event.

cs crowd: mature working folks + some teens + some female game enjoyer.
val crowd: mostly college kid + teens (male and female and others).

of course mature folks will have more passion about their favorite teams. they probably also betted a shit ton of money onto their favorite teams to win. so yea they gotta cheer hard for them win. val crowd is just there to watch the game like its an kpop concert. i dont see val crowd changing anytime soon in the next 5 years. the game caters toward different group of audience tbh.

Why does it feel like the way these korean aim are slightly different than those na, eu, cn, apac south pros aim? Like they can always micro correct their crosshair last second and somrhow still hit their shots. Its so weird but kinda satisfying to see how their aim. They dont flick or snap immediately. They kinda shoot 1 bullet first then micro adjust it to the enemy head. I dont know how to explain it. The way they aim feels different to me. Anyone feels the same? I would like to see their aim train routine. I think korean guys prefer more of the kovvaks than aim lab. I need their aim routine man.

Because sen is in final. There is no way val will get this number in the next final if sens is not it. The same could apply to cs. Their view peaks when s1mple plays against another super team in the final. Or two super team vs each other in the final. There will be no peak if theres no super team in the final.

Imagine if we have loud vs sen in the final. The number will be 1.8m something minimum

They are trying too hard with these new agents and maps.

he is like the shroud of cs. he got his popularity very earlier on in the game. so he has a huge following. even for the past 2 years when he didnt perform so well. his followings stick with him. now his team is performing well. he is gonna get a massive following increase once again!

if sen loses here, i m hoping they win it all in the lower and get their revenge against geng in the actual final. That will be the perfect Script.

Ngl, this is my first time watching geng plays. Their two duelists look very scary. Way stronger than something, kk or anyone from apac

chinese are just not good at tac fps. Period. There is no excuse this time around unlike cs. In cs, they be like because there no good teams to scrim with in east asia except for the mongolians team. Same could be said about NA cs. Theres no good team to scrim with. So the tactics is not as good as those big EU teams.

However in valorant, there are so many decent teams in east asia for the chinese to scrim with. Prx, drx, geng, zeta etc. i will give china 3 more years. If they are still not good in their tactics and discipline, we can officially say the Chinese is not good at tac fps. We need see more than 1 super team from china other than edg. There will be no excuse by then.

ex-eg was so good because all members run together to complement each other shortcoming.
splitting up to play with a different set of roster = cant perform well. GG NRG.

derek just needs a better coach and better teammates to play with. -asuna would be the first step 100t shuold consider

demon1 is just a good aimer. dont think he is the best duelist. duelist is supposed to be selfless and try to create an opening for the team. jaw does this part perfectly. demon1 creates the opening by "outaiming" his opponents. jaw creates the opening by playing the character. look at his jett movement. jett doing jett thing instead of just being a god knifer like demon1
