What? From a pure money perspective you're just making no sense, and that's not even mentioning that he probably just likes competing, something you're foreign to apparently. Feels like you're just arguing to argue and have no idea what you're talking about
at that point in time juicy was being paid BANK by bleed and also because the legacy rule was not clearly stated to be only applied to the first batch of franchising players (hence zekken was able to compete)
also juicy wanted to enlist into the army post-ascension but because singaporean government is weird when it comes to army he probably doesn’t have a definitive date to enlist yet, hence he’s competing in ascension since it’s the only option for him
He wanted to serve since he has to do it and can't play franchise but turns out he can't serve yet
as someone whos personally worked with and watched almost all of these players i can safely say that this is easily a top 5-3 ascension team minimum granted if they dont lose to redkoh’s team whos a great contender to dsg. bryce was very impactful on kz even if he didnt show the same results on nip, he legit took us from relegation to top 3 in split 2. riza is also an apac version of kingg, man literally hypercarried almost all of our games while igling and is a great initiator. wayne is also a great smokes player and even beat the bleed core under us in AEF. juicy jayh and retla have all proved themselves before and are all great pickups.
not every team has to be big name stars from big shot regions to be “good”, and its not mid because you dont know who they are. toast chose this roster for a reason and a good one at that. i can personally vouch for everyone listed here
if they can make 3rd place on ascencion that's show how doom pacific tier 2 are
Hopefully they'll be able to perform great this upcoming ascension, love to see more MY/SG players get recognition, or well, exposure - to least get people talking - at this point of time.
