took me a few rewatches, but once I got my head around it it all came together perfectly
That's a pretty hard question, but the first movie that comes to my mind is Baby Driver for some reason. The first 2 acts of that movie where the most fun i had watching a movie in years
Django Unchained is one of my favorites as well. Currently my favorite is between these 5
-Django Unchained
-Schindler's List
-Whiplash
-Saving Private Ryan
-LOTR: Return of the King
As I let Oppenheimer marinate, it might join my top 5 soon.
i have but i was 14 and i might rewatch now since i found it a little boring at first
Shawshank is such an amazing story. I was so happy I watched Parasite, I wasn't sure if I'd like it but my friend convinced me. What an incredible viewing experience
A prophet
Stalker
Chungking express
Taipei story
Long day's Journey into night
Life of Brian
Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless MInd
Suzume (the cinema experience is very fucking amazing)
La La Land
I remember being scared that it was gonna be bad bc I hadn't heard of it before watching it, and it became one of my top movies of the year
There's a movie called Mahaveeran its in tamil/hindi but you'll get subtitles for it, watch it!! its too good
Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back
Parasite
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
The Boondock Saints (was my favorite movie when I was like 13)
Shrek
tbh every Tarantino movie is amazing to me, I never watched boondock saints tho, I'll have to add it to my list
It's a cult classic for a reason, don't go in with expectations of a fantasticly written/directed/acted movie, I just enjoy it mostly for the nostalgia and how fun of a watch it is.
Come and See
Persona
Dancer in the Dark
not sure which one of these, thinking i need to rewatch Come and See even though i initially thought i'm never gonna watch it ever again just due to the sheer intensity. every single pore of that movie breathes terror.
