I know the US has a stricter visa policy with regards to ex convicts and past known behavior (which was why kngv couldnt play in the 2018 Boston CSGO major after the "prove it or I'll kill you" incident), so there's potential problems here as the Americas league is in LA.

I think it's mostly just the overwhelming majority of the vocal audience with followings publicly said they wouldn't cast him if he were to be signed but are completely silent regarding this situation. I personally feel like the biggest difference is the reach and audience sinatraa has/had then comparatively.
im pretty sure na is complaining because of the penalty sinatraa got while not actually being convicted, and they believe that because the allegations against ntk and pancc were proven to be legitimate they shouldn't be rewarded for winning ascension. everyone has their own morals and logic
