it really is sometimes, Ive been supporting navi in csgo since 2018, when valorant came out I was waiting for navi to announce their roster and I was really happy when they did, with cloud and arch and everyone. And Ive been supporting them since. I also understand that sentinels was and still is very popular team, which was very good in 2020/2021, so I dont understand why this guy uses pride month expression to INSULT some fans, who have been supporting teams for a long time just like he is supporting sentinels, maybe Im wrong and he just got into valorant, but I doubt it, cause he talks specifically abt navi and guard fans (ik guard is realtively new but you get my point). I said INSULTS, because he means it as an insult, because in our society we call people gay for doing/thinking some odd or unpopular things, I personally have nothing against lgbtq+ community, but from a neutral view his expression is pretty rude I would say.

signifies the years of hate, laws, and societal pressures the LGBTQ+ community has received (and still receives) and represents a large portion of the world's population

to answer your question about why pride month is in june, it's because that was the month the Stonewall Riot happened
for some light context, the Stonewall Inn was a gay bar in NYC that was unwarrantedly raided by NYPD and the clashes with the patrons led to a big riot. for most LGBTQ+ folks it marks the real start of the gay rights movement since it was the first real pushback against the systematic oppression LGBTQ+ people faced from American society at the time
you can be queer and homophobic, u can also be the same race ur being racist against
