You do realize this is the nature of franchising/partnership leagues right?
as long as it is the majority of the home region, it's fair game. While Jake did say that it is from a strategic marketing partnership, it was clear that in the application, unless it's from a homogeneous team, it'll be more prevalent.
APAC/Pacific is a unique case where regionalism is more visible compared to that of EMEA and NA (let's be fair, LATAM and BR are the same as us APAC folks in terms of regional pride.)
While I believe that there'll always be a place for region-based majority roster (and the Challengers/Ascension system does make sure of it), there'll be a few teams that will mix and match.

Why do you want a 3/5 team when we barely have a growing scene? Let the 2 players in GE get to prove themselves internationally and grow then the idea of 3/5 Indians can be worked on. Making them a laughing stock just for representation is stupid.

A full indian can barely compete in tier 2 let alone tier 1, GE probably trying to slowly build a indian team with a proper tier 1 team that they will slowly sub out for better quality indian players who would by then have properly developped and have a t1 mindset
What's the point of getting more indian players when they are not even going to play. Btr for them to play constantly in tier 2 scene than rot in bench on apac league.
