i think groups would be interesting to watch.... however i dont think it should be used just yet.... the iceland one was good but at the same time i feel like bye matches shouldnt be given and instead 1st seeds fight with 3 seeds...
I will hold by TI being the standard all tournaments should be held too, 2 groups for seeding play BO2 and then everyone or most ppl progress into double elim
Probabaly just a 16 team double Elim bracket, expect this time there wont be byes, It will just be iceland bracket but this time its filled up
playoffs are definitely single elim due to point distribution but groups for me are a guess
where have you got the point distrubution from cause i swear nothing has been announced

I hope to god we don't get a 16 team double elim bracket, just be a normal tournament and go group stages into 8 team single elim bracket
I like single elim better, it makes every match a real fight for survival instead of having a cushion of the lower bracket, imo the most exciting games of every tournament for me have been lower bracket games, upper bracket games don't have the same excitement because there is a lower bracket they can fall to
Double elimination allows more teams to play against each other and stops things like the best team eliminating the 2nd best team In the first round.
