honestly can we all just take one moment to thank the vlr team and enigma for this website? in a lot of areas, it's so good here and we really have a nice place (when looking away from all the toxicity)

-regular updates

-a shit ton of features and stuff no other site really has (upvotes / stars, team leaderboards, crazy amounts of data of matches players teams etc

-a clean ass design that's not confusing at all with the perfect amount of detail. the information we need is here, and there's no unnecessary things

-very few ads

-staff that actually ban people and keep the community at a.. decently healthy place

-results of live matches are update incredibly fast

-and much much more that i probably can't even remember

Thank you for this website. we all appreciate it (except the toxicity, fuck that)

1-Why don't we see team logos instead of flags on the 'matches' page?
2-I know this one is hard and related to RIOT, but when will we be able to see instant kill-death-assist scores on the matches pages?

As for 2, that is incredibly difficult and would take a full staff to manually input the logs throughout every game and follow along (as the live score updates that you see are manually counted by an admin either by game stream or friends list stream).

As for 1, I don't know! That is something I could bring up, and good feedback :)

Quick question: Is there a mechanism for breaking down stats (like kills) per round, like the "Timeline" feature in-game? For example, I wanted to see how many kills Asuna got during regulation in that record-breaking 48-kill match in Icebox vs V1 (it was 26) before going into overtime, but I had to go watch the vod to see it since the stats pages only show a summary of what happened.

I doubt it's something everybody wants to see, but just curious if you've thought about it.

This is definitely something that you may see in the future. Games are tracked and logged round-per-round so this would be a possible feature. I agree that some form of a statistical timeline would be very interesting (if only we had more API support from Riot), but a simple one that would allow you to see a stat such as you mentioned is definitely not out of reach.

While I'm a hater of modern UIs, I do think that vlr in some areas is already superior to HLTV. I think what is truly holding vlr back from surpassing HLTV completely is better match API support from Riot.
