idk what the devs were thinking, listening to the complainers who barely play the game and say "oh abilities overload" or listen to actual pros who have much more rational TWEAKS to agents rather than a full blown meta nuke.
Tejo was a problem. the problem was addressed (rather brutally let's be honest, barely anyone plays him apart from Trent who's exceptional at the agent). meta is at an all-time high variance. yes, it's not perfect, but it's in a great spot to adjust and tweak and test.
now they just pulled the entire essence of this game out and made this counter blox by riot games. ranked is going to be so insufferable. judges, ops, even more duelist instalocks, even more incentives to play selfish and not play as a coordinated unit.

I play in APAC and people there are literally the worst playerbase ever in terms of comms and teamwork, there's a Neon Judge abuser every 5 games and an op crutch at the same rate. people do 0 defaults, go insta dry peek and just runs it the fuck down. absolutely nightmarish state for the game.

we're just destroying the core identity of a relatively fun and unique game by trying to make it similar to other games. if you want pure gunplay, don't play valorant

agreed, matchup is entirely dependent on SEN. GX will show up no doubt imo, they for sure got better but even when ara/Flickless debuted they were already a decent threat imo.

if SEN mental resets, they can dogwalk GX. if not, it's close and could very much be in GX's favour

VCT EMEA matches in regular seasons start at 3pm and 5pm GMT usually. The fact that this Champs they pulled the time back 2 hours earlier means at most only EMEA should be getting affected because if it's late at night for the NA people it's already earlier than what it normally is 100%.

I'm glad that more VN players are getting exposure and joining intl teams but man... if all the T1 talent we birthed is crazyguy and n1zzy in 4 years then this is just disappointing.

Apart from the probably biased asf crowds (still probs better than KR), Vietnam would be a sick place to host a tourney no? We've seen it hosted in HCMC for League MSI and I think that went pretty good.

gameplan/macro wise RRQ is probably by far the best imo. the gameplans are just too well thought out and their map pool is decent (lots of pocket picks, okay on the bans and plays half decent on the maps they don't usually pick into)

GenG/DRX is a close second. Korean teams have always been really good macro-wise, but the old-style comps on maps like Lotus is holding them back so much. double smokes just not it in the Tejo meta (obviously this will change, let's see what happens next)

PRX is much more flexible now, plays much more thoughtfully while still keeping some semblance of that deathball execute heavy style. if they get better at this they might be incredibly dangerous imo

Deryeon is an amazing flex too, so much more flexible than most players. He can fit in the duelist and/or sentinel role like most normal duelists but can also flex to smokes if needed (itk he's played Astra before).
imo Zest and Retla are both better than crazyguy. ig Zest's IGL value isn't amazing unless he learns more English but they're definitely still good players.
crazyguy is amazing, good clutches, solid aim and understands the game relatively well but he has too little T1 experience and not amazing consistency. If Bleed manages to build a team around him and sScary though I'll eat my words gladly

okay I love crazyguy to death but keeping him over Deryeon Retla or Zest in an unbiased standpoint is nuts
