Nah he won’t fill sick’s shoes at all but you gotta remember, we had players like hiko who just quick. And until the end hiko wasn’t horrendously awful. And I’d certainly say shroud has a higher skill ceiling than hiko

i think from a business standpoint its a good move for everyone involved
-sentinels get viewer boosts not only in vct games but in player streams, youtube videos, and higher engagement and exposure
-valorant gets huge exposure from fans coming to see shroud compete at a high level again, and will almost certainly gain a bigger playerbase and viewerbase as a result
-shroud obviously benefits from a paycheck and huge boost in viewers
-viewers get to see shroud compete in valorant on one of the most popular teams in all of valorant, it'll surely make for some fun games and a great viewing experience
the only downside i can see from this is teams looking at this move and seeing it as something to replicate, killing the competitive integrity of the game. But i think this is the type of move only a team with the popularity and reputation of sentinels can make

But this is MASSIVE from a business perspective for Sentinels.

SEN still have no sponsors, they're paying 10-20x times bigger salaries for all the pros and creators, than they earn back in merch
Yeah, all of that is true, but that's as of yesterday. I don't defend Sentinels or shround but this move could be seen as a gamble to turn that around. Maybe shroud fans will support this with their money.
And i say massive because until today, they weren't doing anything to change the situation, and we can't deny that shroud moves a ton of people...

I sincerely hope that Shroud takes this seriously, I may talk a bunch of shit about SEN, but when Sentinels is good that is the best for not only the NA scene but for the whole valorant scene
