In my opinion, he gets too much shit.
He may not be on the level of a few duelists but he's still incredibly talented and a really good player. Everyone seems to make it out like he's constantly underperforming, which isn't statistically correct. Out of the most recent games, I could only find one where he bottom fragged (which was against g2). Some people may say that since d3ffo is a duelist he should be putting up higher numbers, but its fundamentally a team game. With such talented teammates and such a talented shot caller like redgar, D3ffo doesn't need to be constantly popping to fill his role.

Yea he has places where he needs to grow, but that's the whole fucking point,
For example, Derke used to be a shitter, bottom fragging, and generally underperforming. Now he's one of the best (arguably best) duelists in the world

d3ffo has shown insane potential and skill
Gambit is extremely adaptable and they have been shown to learn easily
The same goes for the players, the same goes for d3ffo

Yeah he's a good duelist but their whole team is insane mechanically so he doesn't have to top frag every game

D3ffo is one of the best duelist on world and top 3 in LAN. He gets shit on because people don't understand Gambit's playstyle, he sacrifices himself half the rounds to make space. Watch fracture and split of M3C vs Fnatic EMEA, he made so much space and was one of the biggest reason they came so close to beating them on split. Doesnt matter what idiots here think, M3C players know his value

to me d3ffo is more of a hard entry and a very selfless player. i dont think hes in the conversation for like top 5 but he does sacrifice himself quite a bit to make room for his teammates to perform.

he has stage 3 scolliosis thats why he played bad the last playoffs, he will be back and stronger

People who downplay the impact d3ffo has on offense in Gambit's structure really do not understand how they play, except on a surface level.
He is incredible at creating space and pressuring sites which often results in confusion when defending team gets overwhelmed on the site. This results in him getting picked off early when a site is being pressured, which they HAVE TO do, as they often attack the site during the late rounds because they play for almost a whole minute passively, trying to punish opponents' aggression. Of course, stats will never show you this, which is, unfortunately, often used as a reference when evaluating the players' performances.
He is not Derke, aspas, yay type of Jett, which people often wrongfully compare. I'd rather see 15/20/0 Jett being traded on a winning team, than a 30/15 Jett on a losing team... shit is a red flag lol

Hard to frag when ur teammates is a god at the game

W take, people constantly shit on him but Gambit have been a team together for so long that its obvious they have something working out for them. you only have to watch a few of their matches to see he entries and makes space for them as his main job, he isnt there to sit back and kill people. not to mention his 4 other teammates are all insane players and as long as he can make space on site for them they usually convert the round win even if its a 4v5. hes also a demon on LAN, really hope they qualify this masters just to show theyre still strong

Also I remember a clip of yay saying that deffo was as hard to play against as cned or heat because deffo is extremely disciplined, as far as Jett mains go
Sure he’s not making crazy highlight plays like other jetts but he’s also not making mistakes and is always making space and playing with his team, which is perfect in a team like gambit where you have nats and chronicle fragging + sheydos anchoring

D3ffo is insane and can play high level Jett, Raze and Neon. His flexibility is more important than his carry potential IMO. Because rest of the team is so good and well rounded as well and him being able to flex helps Gambit a lot.
