No, Verno, Brawk, and imo blowz are better just in Americas

blowz is not even close and verno i don't think it's a great argument he's inconsistent asf and I don't think he's setting up his team well
Mainly because Verno is forced to clutch to get his team out of horrible situations. Blowz doesn’t need to be as heavily relied on, and it benefits the team more.
yes rn but i just have never seen verno consistent
also besides for sova he plays OMEN brother i hate how the meta has become so double-duelist phoenix centered that sova becomes better than fade (mainly due to the prowlers being inconsistent in a flood heavy style, not that I'm going to write a whole essay here on that) on every map; in the past it woudl be sova some maps, fade others.
these initiators who can't play anything besides for sova do great in this meta but I just feel like in terms of initiator in gneeral, trent > brawk/verno because his pool is far deeper
i think it's between him and brawk imo (for both americas and itw) but just because of the fact that g2 is not... the BEST team rn, I'd give it to brawk - the BEST initiator itw should both be very well performing AND help his team's success, whereas right now I feel like g2 is just...
I do think he's top 3 for SURE rn
brawk's biggest downgrade is his initiator pool. IMO, the best initiator should be able to play the two main recons, sova and fade. For whatever reason, brawk refuses to play anything besides sova (literally no other initiator last year he would only play like VYSE besdies for sova) and this year he still only plays sova and vyse (verno, same thing, only sova and a little bit of OMEN)
At least verno has shown fade and been good; idek if brawk knows fade lineups, like honestly i might have more than him (I have ~10/map,depending on retake style and attack style and location). like much less the rest of the initiators, not even fade is kinda...
i refuse to believe there’s a pro initiator player who can’t play fade in 2026, but considering his tejo was not good, honestly it’s possible 😭
Brawk - plays poorly internationally
Blowz - worst fragger of the big 4 recon players in Americas rn, also just has the least expectations
Verno - playing out of his mind rn so if you say he’s the best rn, then fair, but not over the course of the year
Trent - best statistically, best performer on average, most consistent, has the biggest agent pool initiator wise

Verno is playing probably the best valorant of his career rn, I won’t fault anyone for saying he’s better specifically right now and not across the entire year. Brawk is completely coasting off his 2025 champs win tho. While brawk is the 3rd highest rated player in Americas regionals across 2026 (he absolutely deserves credit for this), he is the 2nd lowest rated player on NRG internationally with a 0.98. And jsut by the eye test, he has consistently failed on that end. His best international performance this year is comparable to Trent’s worst by eye test and every metric.
brawk just doesnt pass the eye test for me ngl, but he has massive impact on nrg for sure. I can see why he fits well on nrg but I doubt he plays as well on another team
brawk actually wins clutches and number disadvantage situations for his team consistently and id say he’s a smarter player. you could give tent flexibility but honestly brawk can still play other initiators it’s just that his sova is good enough for it to be built around in nrg’s comps
Just so we are clear, are you aware that Trent has the 2nd most clutches won in franchising? Not only that, are you aware that Trent has the most clutches won this year?
we’re not talking about all time or this past year, it’s about best in the world right now so these statistics are meaningless when player forms are volatile. trent in low number situations literally just hasn’t been as good as brawk has in low number situations this stage its just easier to stand out when the rest of the team run around aimlessly without direction
