"We had some great times with great people. We laughed, had fun, traveled together, and achieved some great things representing Türkiye," AtaKaptan posted on X.

AtaKaptan retires from Valorant with an extensive playing career, dating back to 2021. He moved into the title after a prominent Counter-Strike career in the Turkish region. The roster became one of the first Turkish squads to find international success, with AtaKaptan's peak coming across 2023 and 2024. He helped the team finish third at VCT 2023: EMEA League and capped the year with a Convergence 2023 title in the off-season. The following year brought his deepest international run. Alongside Mehmet "cNed" Yağız İpek, Doğukan "qRaxs" Balaban, Furkan "MrFaliN" Yeğen, and Eray "yetujey" Budak, AtaKaptan helped FUT reach 5th-6th at Masters Shanghai, before finishing fourth at EMEA Stage 2 that July.

During his FUT tenure, AtaKaptan also competed at back-to-back Champions events, taking 7th-8th at Champions Los Angeles, but exited in the group stage at Champions Seoul.

FUT benched the Turkish Controller ahead of EMEA 2025 Stage 2 after a string of inconsistent performances, replacing him with former Champions Berlin winner cNed.

He never reclaimed a starting spot, and FUT released him in August, closing the book on his four-year run with the organization.
