Below are the complete match results from week three:

After starting the stage with a loss to 100T, G2 have now risen to second place in Group Omega with wins over KRÜ and Sentinels, extending their record to 3-1. BABYBAY had an impressive 31-kill showing versus KRÜ on Lotus to make it a 2-0 series. Their match against Sentinels, which was JonahP 's first time facing off against his former team, was closer, but an 8-1 start for G2 on the decider of Split off the back of monstrous lurks from leaf gave way to a 2-1 victory for the Stage 1 winners.

trent clutches an impossible 1v3 pistol versus Sentinels.

Still leading Omega is 100T, who also defeated Sentinels 2-1. Sentinels challenged the group leaders, winning out a high-caliber Sunset map 15-13, but were firmly outclassed by the EWC winners on Ascent and Breeze to end a difficult superweek 0-2. Asuna had another stellar performance with 67 kills and 208 ADR as the Phoenix continues to lead the region in nearly every statistical category.

Over in Group Alpha, the most hotly anticipated match of the week was NRG versus LEVIATÁN. Both teams looked convincing on their map picks as NRG won Summit 13-10 and LEV took Sunset 13-6. Haven was an all-out brawl; neither team could find an attack round in overtime until skuba finally closed it out for NRG 16-14 with a 1v3 clutch.

skuba takes NRG over the line.

Also rising in the Alpha standings is MIBR, who faced Evil Geniuses this week. Things were looking dire for them on Haven to start as EG stormed to 12-5, but MIBR would go on to win the next nine rounds in a row to complete the comeback and win 14-12. Spurred on by momentum, the superteam conceded only two more rounds for the rest of the series as they took Ascent 13-2.

tex turns on a dime for a lightning-fast 1v3.

Coming into the week, four teams were still winless: FURIA, ENVY, Cloud9, and KRÜ. ENVY found their first win of the stage this week over FURIA in 2-1 fashion, looking much improved as a team following a disastrous start to the stage and leaving FURIA at the bottom of Group Alpha 0-4.

A no-scope from Demon1 takes home the win for ENVY.

Similarly, while Cloud9 suffered defeat at the hands of LOUD at the start of this week with lukxo dropping an unbelievable 71/41/8 KDA performance on Chamber, the struggling squad finally found a win over KRÜ, their first since week three of Stage 1. OXY was primed on Breeze against the LATAM squad with a 33-kill, 421 ACS statline; on the other side, KRÜ looks like a shadow of the team that went 4-1 in the Stage 1 group stage as they now sit 0-4.

Up next

All four playoff spots in Americas are still up for grabs with NRG, LEV, and MIBR closely contending in Alpha and 100T and G2 currently leading in Omega. FURIA, Cloud9, and KRÜ are already guaranteed to finish bottom two in their groups and will thus face Challengers squads in their opening play-in matches.
