But the whole point of these lists is also that it's based on recent form. Otherwise it would always be the same list or close to it
Recent form should just be a part of it. Otherwise just sort people by stats
Is that not the point of a tier list for an event based in the present moment. He isn’t saying x player is better over a year, he is saying x player is the better coming into the event. Sure some historical factors should play but it isn’t really bad to be recency biased for a list for the present moment.
I feel like its just too recency biased, thats all. I do agree recent form should be the most important factor, but not by that much.
horrible list lol im expected to believe heretics only have one player in the top 25% of players attending the event
there is no world where s0pp is above keiko (or on the list at all really), the latter part goes for f0rsaken too
vookashu is also way too high, yes he's a great player but he isn't top 4 in the world good - we had the same conversation about happywei, look how that turned out
sure and hes still an excellent player, but a "best in the world" level player is able to hard carry against swiss stage level teams
look at marteen, M8 aren't exactly great but he dragged them to santiago then dragged them into playoffs with the highest rating at the event by far
m8 built their entire system around marteen, sure he was undoubtedly the peak of individual play this year but sentinel players in general are never going to be in this position
and the rest of m8 performed much better than the rest of xlg
If vo0kashu had more than 1 and a half other players on his team we ALL would know he's the best player in the world
10 minutes of glazing is the bare minimum required when talking about vo0kashu
