HM: trent, shaz
crashies is a head above the rest, and BcJ, derrek, xeta, and eeiu are just too close with eachother imo.

EDIT: for those saying shaz should be top 5, I didn't watch champs that much so I didn't see it. sorry

I think this is based too much on this one qualifier, i think a more fair ranking would be

Crashies (just undoubtedly the best)
Bcj (always been really good, super consistant)
Hiko (gets a lot of hate but is still really dependable and plays really well with his team)
Shahz (best sova frag wise but still lacks a bit utility wise compared to the big sova nerds)
Probably Aleko (Leviathan) but a case could be made for eeiu, derrek or effys

idk about indisputably, he's good but he hasn't really proven that much compared to hiko or shahz imo. A lot of people get recency bias cause of watching him play well, i wouldn't say hes top 3 because of 1 or 2 good series hes had recently

Its a team game so Rise has not achieved Sen and 100T status but individually Derrek > Hiko and Shahz

Saying Derrek’s performance is better than shahz is definitely not fair. Shahzam was literally the 17th best performer at champions despite the fact that they lost 2 series and only won 1. Derrek’s online performance has been good during the recent opens and lcq but is incomparable to shahz’s long term performance

Recency bias? Even before LCQ he was in the conversation and at LCQ he established himself as a top 3 sova. Now he's just continuing his great play and proving that he is a top 3 sova. HiKo is nowhere close. HiKo and Shahz aren't even top 5 either. I'll take eeiu and xeta everyday on sova.

I really never saw him as a top 5 sova till now. I think 100T bad performance at lcq is hindering from the fact that hiko performed phenomenally well against the best teams in the world (Gambit and acend). Derrek is an amazing sova but he’s fairly new to tier 1 play and calling him top 3 is like calling Trent top 5.

You just can't put HiKo above someone like Derrek because of 2 series though. Derrek has outperformed HiKo in the last couple of NA events and this is coming from a 100T fan. I think HiKo is a great sova and a good player but he's not a better sova than Derrek, xeta, or eeiu.

You can't make a top 5 NA sova list without upsetting at least 1 person. Its better to make a top 10 so that you dont miss any good sova out.
