I think its more about the consistency on LAN. Acend has always been amazing team online and they looked really good in end of Champions, but way underperformed in Masters 3. While Gambit's 1st and 2nd placements in back to back international LAN tournaments just shows how consistent they have been (even though they struggled in groups). I also like Gambit's approach more.

One actual reason: Gambit much more consistent and reliable.
Have better individually players
Have had more sucess throughout the year

Ppl saying acend is better than gambit LOL
They were a bit better for 1 week.
Just because 1 team wins two hard games against strong teams, it doesnt mean that this team is better than the one that dominated whole 2021 and lost just two International matches along the year.

There is no best team in the world, Valarante as an esport is so random that if you will both pistols in a map your chance to take it is already 80% as long as you're not complete noob, lucky clutches can save your economy / momentum which will in the future save you from losing the game / getting eliminated, right call can give you the victory and wrong call will knock you out, only 13 rounds to win which increases the randomness of Valorant even more...

Acend - Gambit - Liquid - KRU - even Sentinels, all can beat each other on any day, Acend were just a little bit more blessed in some game moments, doesn't mean they didn't deserve the trophy

once again people trying to rate valorant teams as if they were CSGO

in valorant, the meta is always changing. New agents are joining the pool, guns are getting nerfed or buffed, maps are changing, etc... the game is still relatively new and there's always so much going on, that teams haven't been able to perfect all the strategies (if they ever will)

that's why we had different teams winning the Masters/Champions. And I believe that this will repeat for quite some time
