Ok im argueing with ppl on X and i wanna know what ppl here think, do u guys count this as a masters trophy some ppl use the excuse that there were no qualifers dumbest thing ever every team got a chance, other excuse is its single elim but every kickoff is bumish and has a weird format this one was just as unique, plus the prizepool is the same as normal masters, it also gave EMEA a extra slot in the next masters plz give me a good reason y this trophy doesnt mean as much as another kickoff trophy

Because it's lock in, a single elim tournament, when many of the winners(of previous tournaments) are the ones who get through the lower bracket and fight for the win
Even so like i said kickoff always has unique formats and usually worst tourny of the year and it had same prizepool i dont get how its so discredited u legit had to be unbeatable to win no mistakes
I mean its literally "could you turn up on that day" But we see many teams truly enter their prime after the lower bracket and those matches.

Like the argument "Fnatic were good on that day" Does not include the fact that the teams they faced(sure they are the top teams of that year almost), were not performing as well on that day. But who really knows whether it was just them on the day, or if there was a lower bracket the run they could've made to win
