what's funny is Asuna was a headache to deal with in CSGO, but he was not as mechanically good as the other youngsters like s0m and oBo at the time. it would have been interesting to see if he could have become pro in CSGO.
None of this is confusing. 90% of people who are good enough to go pro in Val grew up playing CS to develop their aim and mechanics.
Will be more interesting in 10 or so years when the league is full of people who grew up with Val as their primary FPS game.
