He genuinely talks like a Twitter user. I understand his frustration as a team owner. But going on twitter.com and publicly blaming your ex coach for bad performance and bad roster changes is surely a choice. I don't care how frank you are or how connected you are to your fanbase but it's still weird to flame someone who has been there with you for a while. You are still a CEO. Atleast talk like one when you are talking about stuff like this?

Is it though? Would you want your ex boss to go on twitter to flame you for hundred of thousands of people?

i mean just look at all the hate threads he's getting. I don't think Rob is coming out with the W here. He's basically just engagement farming. He posts on twitter asking for recommendations on what SEN should do. Pretty sure that's why he fired kaplan. He's branding the idea that SEN is a public org. And he doesn't care to post the ups or downs. I fuck with it

"we could have any players we wanted, why did we go tier 2?" - Rob Moore .........
They signed players/a roster for 3 years so it is clearly a long term goal/vision and after one kickoff of year 1 they change the coach instantly ...(braindead CEO/braindead ORG)

saw on twitter that 2 players are getting dropped and johnqt is the new igl now

It literally is a tier 2 roster, SEN never had a chance in Kickoff

being slandered for your roster decisions is infinitely better than getting slandered for tactics, leadership and work-ethic

he was slandered for chemistry and tactics too

not really, rob has said consistently that kaplan was dropped because of his roster decisions specifically regarding zekken and johnqt

he also said chemistry was not where they wanted it to be so they pulled the plug

He was already getting slandered for those by the fans.

The roster decisions is just on top of that, since fans didn't know how much power he had in the org

i think being slandered for wanting to drop ZEKKEN is valid and he was also slandered for his bad read of the meta

What does 'flaming' exactly means?? He only said facts which were completely obvious. Obviously he'd be frustrated too. He probably didn't expect them underperform like this

Buddy, you don't have to say everything on twitter. When you have worked with someone for long, basic etiquette is to just say we needed some change of scenery or something like that. It's just weird and leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you hear someone at a high position say something at a time like this. Everything shouldn't be a joke.

it is a business man. You don’t lay out all the details for everyone to see. You as a CEO should just say “we are unhappy with results” and move on. He literally makes a tweet saying “I’m disappointed” and replies to every negative comment about the players and the team. That is extremely unprofessional, and if Sentinels didn’t have the rep they have as an org in valorant, it would be a deterrent for anyone who wanted to go there

This. Just don't say anything. Sometimes you need to remember it's a business.

I mean Kaplan wanted to try something different and it didn’t work out if Rob really disagreed from the start then he shouldve done this after champs

I think the obvious bad decision is letting zeklen go so you can put n4rrate on duelist.
rob basically implied they could've tried to keep zekken but kaplan didn't want and he had something on his contract that gives him full authority over roster decisions.

Maybe cus he wanted to see reduxx potential over zekken idk and narrate on duelist

I'll disagree with this. At least in traditional sports, owners meddling almost never works. The point is for them to hire guys who actually know what they're doing. If you don't trust the decisions of the person you hire to make decisions, you shouldn't have hired them.

The only issue here is usually the roster move guy and the head coach are two different people. But I think it's understandable for Kaplan to have a lot of power given how long he's been in the org + he won them a trophy.

I just reread the post and he literally gave Kaplan his props. You just complained about nothing lmaoooo.

The concept is simple, you are a giant organization... the direction your team is heading in is negative.... you hire the head coach who is received as the most promising

Literally happens in every sport ever.
What about the post specifically do you not like?

Our performance at Champs 2025 was disappointing, and the roster decisions Kaplan has made to address these issues have sent us in the wrong direction

It's not that it's very rough, it's just unnecessary. Just move on, he not on yo team no more. Wording matters a ton.

Ok fair enough he didn't have to point that out maybe. But maybe he just wants to give the fans an ounce of transparency rather than, "We have decided to move in a different direction" which just leads everyone to speculate. It wasn't necessary maaaybe, but it's not harmful either.

TO BE HONEST Kaplan wanted to drop zekken and have N4RRATE be main duelist so like, can you blame Rob for trying to not have his org ruined? Zekken is so important to sentinels not only because he is a crazy talented player, but because he was also part of the sentinels brand. now that brand is hurt badly

#38

Maybe he shouldn’t have given his coach full rights over roster decisions. Rob is just a bad CEO. A lot of teams have managers for this exact reason. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket

he could have been nicer but you cant 1. replace zekken 2. remove johnqt off igl. 3 and then bomb the first qualifications. If they finished like 4-5th its probs fine but they looked legit terrible.
