It rlly boils down to average age of player base. CS just has an older community which is why they have experienced life a lil more so they're just more lax. Val players are chronically online weirdos bc they are just younger and have all the time in the world and they're so fixated on becoming pro that they throw toxic baby tantrums at their teammates. The game just attracts a younger audience so it will forever have this issue unless somehow there is a culture shift in val where players shun/flame the toxic assholes I mentioned earlier. If that were to happen, I guarantee you everyone would be on their mic.

I kinda answered that with my initial post. It's pretty straightforward bro, toxic player base. You are seriously telling me you don't notice a difference in your CS teammates vs ur VAL teammates? For me it's night and day, in CS the players aren't degrading you for 1 little mistake. Hell, even if you lose the game the players in CS are telling you "have a good night guys". In val if u make 1 little mistake, these weird kids are talking about for the whole game.

Valorant players are just freaks bro and here is my proof that I know for a fact we have all witnessed:

You ever play a game where one kid is clearly trying his hardest to win, making comms, calling strats, etc. You can hear the passive aggressiveness of these players towards the player(s) on the team that is underperforming. With that being said, the tryhard never insults or says anything mean the whole game. BUT, once you either lose or win the game, that last 2 seconds where everyone is still connected to the game... BOOOM!! It all comes out: UNINSTALL!, NI**ER!, YOU ARE FUCKING HORRIBLE YOU FUCKING INBRED!!! YOU'RE NOT REAL!!!! YOU CREATURE!!!!!

That is point blank why valorant has more no comms than other games. I cannot explain it better than this. The community is filled with virgins.

Yea i agree with you, it is very annoying when u have useless teammates that also don't comm. The disconnect we are having is that I've accepted that no mic's will always be a thing.

I would rather focus on what I can do rather than what I want someone else to do bc u just can't really control that.

It's cringe bc you are never going to win the fight against no mics. Also it sounds like a cope. I hit radiant as a no comm insta lock jett solo q, so it's quite literally a skill issue.

There are work arounds to people with no mic:
1) find a duo- if u can't take control of a game with a duo, it's a skill issue.
2) Comm for them- if it's defense, play the guy with no mic on a site with someone who does have a mic
3) IGL- On offense- as long as you have someone IGLing on offense what util is the no comm guy not using lmao.

Keep in mind, it's not just your team that has the no mic. The other team likely has a no mic too, so you are pretty much complaining about a fair game bc the other team is most likely dealing with the same issue.

Last thing- if no mics is the issue and not skill. Then how come we have all won those games where everyone locks duelist and nobody is using their mic. We have all also lost games where all 5 players have mics making coms. Just hit ur shots bro, u will rank up way faster than if ur teammate held V :)

The main issue with val ranked scene is that the players are toxic/cringe which makes playing the game unpleasant. I don't blame no mic's bc in every game you have at least 1 kid on ur team who's a know it all and pointing blame at everyone and flaming u to a crisp if you don't ace every time a team hits ur site. Meanwhile they are double negative, I still do not understand this archetype of player. It's extremely prevalent in the val scene for some reason

It wasn’t to that extent all the time but i did lose a lot of games dropping 30+ with 10+ first bloods. I realized the game rewards util/ratty players wayyyyy too much and I came to Val originally bc CS had too many cheaters back then and it was getting repetitive/boring. I hit radiant already so I don’t have much else to prove. I have returned to CS for my main tac fps and I throw in some finals once in a while, haven’t been gaming the last month or so tho. But I do like to keep up with esports

This why I stopped playing Val. You can have damn near 20 kills in 8 rounds and the game is still tied some how 😭😭

idk man people of the same "kind" tend to have the same tendencies. If you've been burned once by a certain kind and have given different people from the same kind multiple chances, at some point ur not going to engage that kind anymore. It's luck of the draw end of the day. Connect with the people that want to connect with you and the ones that don't, you don't have to take it personal.

That doesn't mean people should just be outwardly racist but hey man that's been the internet since forever. I suggest going offline for a while, maybe read books, or pickup cycling, etc (things where racism doesn't really exist). If you are chronically online, then avoid places that are heavily racist/ignorant. If you have a racist teammate, mute them. Racists in a twitch stream? Close chat. So on. Yea it's not ideal, but if it's affecting you that much then make the changes, life is full of compromises.

when i used to play val, a lot of the eu boosters were turkish (i found out its because being a booster in val is better than min wage jobs their since their economy is fucked. Maybe its related. They get so good at winning bc their life depends on it, could be possible.
