Why’s the debate even between Aspas and Chron
It should be between Aspas and alfajer (whose been better than Chron since 2022, when he turned 16)

i know right the only thing chronicle has over alfa is the gambit masters win
i mean its so obvious, alfa has carried games so many times it’s uncountable at this point, and him being flashy makes it more noticeable

alfajer has never done anything with a different team he has to be 4. mechanically very gifted but his util is pretty dogshit the other players above him don't have this issue.

i don't agree with your assessment. when alfa and chronicle were teammates, there was never a point where alfa was worse than chron
yes there were many times but statistically is not what im arguing. alfajer has better aim than chron but all the other intangibles chron brings to a team is far more valuable
the voice he brings to the team, his ability to reset his teammates in stressful moments, his attitude towards winning, hes proven he can work in multiple systems, highly intelligent player rarely makes mistakes, ability to play any agent at the highest level etc. until we see alfajer on a different roster chron stocks will always be higher.
All of the "intangibles" you mentioned Alfa does better or are completely subjective

VCT has 5 years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025)
Alfajer is better than Chronicle for at least 80% of all VCT history, and 100% of his career. And somehow Chronicle is better than Alfajer?

Alfa has higher peak than chronicle, but chronicle is more flexible and reliable than alfa. He would fit in any team.
